Pet Grooming Combo - Blue Deshedding Brush with Metal Comb for Detangling and Dematting Long, Matted Fur on Cats and Dogs

I have a German Shepherd (double coat) and this is the BEST brush I have ever used. My dog doesn’t enjoy being groomed but he actually loves it with this brush and will sit still and let me brush him. Additionally, it really gets the hair. I have used a variety of brushes including the Furminator and nothing works even close to this. I wish it was a little bigger because he is a big dog, but it still does the job amazingly. It works through his coat with no problem and gets any tangles or fur clumps during shedding season out easily. I also noticed a significant decrease in the amount of fur on my floors after just 15-20 minutes of brushing him over the weeks that followed. It has two sizes, for him the wider set combs work better but the small ones are good for knots. The fur on the brush easily comes off to be cleaned.

This brush WORKS!!! My sweet old pup has a double coat that blows out twice a year. He usually lets me brush him for about 10 mins with the furminator and then gets fed up, but with this brush he just laid and chilled out and let me brush him until I was done! This brush seems like a much more comfortable and enjoyable experience for him. At the same time it removes more fur and definitely pulls on his upper coat much less than the furminator. I was able to fill a plastic shopping bag with fur after half an hour of brushing! Seriously love this thing.

This is the best de-shedding tool ever. I had a fluffy cat with some hair matte in her backside. This tool got them out quickly with very little to no discomfort to my kitty friend. I use this tool daily to help keep those mattes down now and get rid of loose undercoat. It is so quick and easy to use. Cleaning both combs are easy. The fur literally slides right out. It couldn't be any easier. The combs are a nice size making them easy to grip and use. The double sided one has a side for large mattes and another side for smaller mattes. Both sides work great for de-shedding

He absolutely hates being brushed and acts personally offended if I even think about going near his back end. I was this close to giving up and taking him to a groomer, until I found this brush set.Heads up: this is not your gentle, everyday brush. This is your post-shed-season, undercoat-exorcising, deep-clean mode brush, or your dog’s coat is holding onto loose hair like it’s got separation anxiety. The first time I used it, I swear I created a whole second dog from the amount of hair it pulled out. Even my dog seemed thankful, and he doesn’t get as hot now.There’s something deeply satisfying about watching that trapped undercoat release in clumps. It’s got tiny razors along each tooth, which is both terrifying, but wonderful. It does help work out mats, but it won’t magically slice through thick knots. It takes patience, sectioning, and gentleness, especially for the sensitive skinned dogs. Think of it like brushing your own tangled hair, painful if rushed, manageable if slow.I do wish this set came with a slicker brush. I had to buy one separately just to prep the coat before using this. A slicker really helps fluff everything out first. Without it, you’re just jumping into battle without armor. Also, the metal comb style brush is okay, but I mainly use that on my shorter haired dog.Cleaning is easy. I honestly think my Aussie was halfway to turning into a sheep before I used this thing.If your dog sheds enough to knit a full sweater, get this. Just know it’s not an everyday tool.

I have tried every kind of brush and nothing worked on my ragdoll cats. I didn't have high hopes for this but I was beyond impressed. This got so much hair out! The comb isn't something I will use but the actual brush is amazing. I even used it on my short hair cat and it worked just as well. So glad I took a chance on this kind of pet brush.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I'm happy that I decided on this detangler for my cat's fur b/c it worked VERY well! It got clumps and clumps of matting out that I couldn't do with the older brush that I had. It made working on his fur so much easier. It's very sturdy also and comfortable in my arthritic hands. It's not as heavy as it looks either, which is good for my hands and wrists. I like the handle too! I surely can recommend this if you have any animals with matted fur. : ) I have to come back and update!! My cat used to HATE being brushed! NOW, he loves it and even rolls over on his back!! I simply CANNOT describe how HAPPY I am that I bought this! Do NOT hesitate to buy this! :-D HIGHLY recommended!! <3

The deshedding brush absolutely gets the job done! I used it on my cat’s backside, where she’d accumulated several mats. I love that it’s two sided - the side with less teeth helps to loosen up the matted fur, and the side with more teeth really tidies up for a nice finish. The comb is great for maintaining coats. Key to success was taking it slow, so as not to hurt or frighten kitty. Have not tried it on dogs, but it seems like it would work well for them too.

This comb combo is really great!! I had another comb for her but didn’t do as much hair as this comb did. I am really surprised how easy was it to use. How effective it was. My dog did have a bit of a tangle problem but this helped a lot on that issue. I did this outside because I didn't want hair inside the house. I wore a mask because I do not want stray hairs getting to me. My dog is about 8 pounds and small. With all this hair, I feel as I made another dog. Overall, a really good comb combo!!
