KastKing13X Finesse Braided Fishing Line - Abrasion Resistant Braided Line, Extremely Thin, Smooth, Long Casting Line for Spinning and Finesse Casting Presentations, 75% Thinner Than Mono

I am heading into my fourth season using KastKing 13x Finesse Braid as the braid backer on my spinning rods. This line is extremely durable, casts smooth, and just flat works. I have had great success using this line with or without a leader depending on bait presentation. It holds up very well and has reduced the frequency of restringing my spinning rods.

So far not sure if im super impressed with this line or super disappointed with my hooks but while doing alot of river fishing i have managed to bend out the hooks of every lure and jig thats gotten snagged before the lines broken. So A+ on the line.

I loaded up my baitcaster reel with 30 lb moss color and Wow!This is overall great line!Thin diameter, smooth, strong and casts a mile!One year warranty.I hope they come out with a 300 yard version.Good support for their products.

Pricey yes, worth it to me. Smooth through the guides unlike the more limp stuff.

Lets start with the good with this Kastking 13x 12lb test braid. This is some very slick, smooth, thin braided line. With it being so slick and smooth I have a hard time keeping hold of it to tie it, but it does knot very well. Smoothness is also easier on my gear. The High Viz Chartreuse is easy to see and track in the water. tied on a 8lb flouro leader 12' long. Haven't tied into a good bass yet, but several log have not been able to break it yet. Not even a fray. Now the not so good, mostly self inflicted, and my own in experience. First lets say I'm testing this line on a reel I'm having a hard time dialing in and have never used braid on a bait caster. Its slickness is also a down fall meaning its hard to grab when you are trying to tie it. I have to use a razor blade or scissors to cut it. It ,for me, is hard to cast without a birds nest. That is most likely all me, hope I figure it out some day. Back to slickness, Its hard to get those nest out.. When i do get a good cast, it is a long cast. Overall even with the issues I have at this time, I will be buying more of this to try on my spinning reels.

Like everything about this fishing line. Casts extremely long, wears good. Strong enough for Large Big mouth bass

This is a great braided line. The diameter is similar to the power pro super 8 slick and I did test where the 30# was breaking at 38#. This will be a solid choice for throwing spinners for salmon where you need strength and casting distance.
