The BRAINIAC Game

Me and my kids young kids play this game very often. Game emphasizes science, reading, world history, art and math.They love it!!

Grandkids love it.

I purchased this to keep my 3 granddaughters (10-7-6) occupied during visits. They absolutely love the game and play it for hours on end. What is so neat is that there are questions for each grade level (in our case 1st, 2nd, 5th) and so each child has a real chance of success as well as of learning quite a lot. This game is very well thought out!

Fun game for the whole family! It is a bit like Trivial Pursuit, but the questions are more geared to elementary school-aged children. The players answer questions based on their grade from 1st-6th. Everyone 6th grade and older answers the 6th grade questions. There were a lot of repeat questions (quality control?), which was frustrating. Also, I suppose this is could be an "eye of the beholder" issue, but our family felt that many of the 6th grade questions were easier than many of the 4th grade questions. Other than those two complaints, we really enjoy the game. It's a good game, but maybe Scholastic will work on polishing up the product in the near future to make it a great game!

I have been buying games like this for my kids for many years. It used to be called Brain Quest but this is the newest version of the game. I loved it because I have 4 boys of different ages. They can all play this game according to their level. They roll the dice and answer questions pertaining to their grades 1-6th. This way there's an even playing field across the board. Kept my smart kids really busy and excited to play. I would highly recommend this game. I just purchased it for my cousin and her two boys.

My 1st grader loves this game. He begs us to play it with him. He's even starting to answer some of the 2nd grade questions. We try to answer the 5th & 6th grade questions so he's hearing & learning those answers too. Great game!

Grandkids ages 5 and 7 enjoyed playing this with me. Very clever that it has cards for adults and for kids!

This game is awesome. My sister who is a teacher recommended it, and my kids (7 and 9) want to play it all the time. The fact we can cater the game to their different knowledge level is great. I just hope an expansion pack of cards is developed because we will run out of questions soon!!
