turned out to be a great set

No case, but beautiful glass chess set.
Doesn’t come with a case, so I am keeping it in the original packaging to keep safe, since the box it came in had it surrounded in styrofoam pieces. The pieces are beautiful, very elegant set, though one of the pieces does have a small chip in the glass, it’s hardly noticeable. It comes with felt circles for you to stick to the bottom of the pawns, but they don’t stick very well. Might have to glue them on later. Overall I am pleased with the purchase.

Wonderful Christmas present
When I was a kid, my older brother had a glass chess board. I wanted to be a cool brother and I cleaned it, not realizing I was wiping off the ink. Decade and a half later, I remember this on a whim and buy this for him as a replacement. He was really happy and funnily wondered what happened to the chessboard. He had no idea what I did lol. Anyways he liked it, and it truly is elegant.

Smaller in person but does the job
We have had this chess set for about a month now and have used it quite a few times. It is smaller than I expected but I found that to be nice so that we can leave it on our kitchen table. Some of the chess pieces are a bit wobbly but the pieces come with little foam pads for the bottom. Despite the fragile appearance of the pieces, they are durable and don't seem to break easily. Overall, this board does the job and I am satisfied.
