Every time my wife uses this withOUT the blender's top it gets chopped. Used properly it is absolutely a great product. Since she uses it improperly I'm glad it's made out of plastic otherwise I'd be replacing the Vitamiix blade assembly or more. I'm going to let her figure it out. I'm glad you have these reasonably priced.

Exact replacement for the Vitamix blender.

The top tamper is the original one which came with my new vitamix Ascent 64oz low profile. The bottom underneath it is this item which is clearly much smaller and not as advertised. It’s almost a quarter inch shorter than the official vitamix tamper so it does not effectively work for crushing frozen fruits or things which need to be fully pushed down. I’m returning it. It’s a decent enough material, just not at all the right size. I hope this was helpful because I saw all the good reviews and thought this would work- but nope.
