ENGEL Live Bait Cooler PRO for Fishing - Portable Minnow and Bait Bucket with Lithium-Ion Rechargeable Aerator

Love this 19 quart cooler and bubbler combo! Bought this to keep our bait fish alive for ice fishing. The stream where we normally keep baitfish was very low water so we lost a lot of minnows. We have batteries charged by solar panels, so it is handy to have the USB-C plug to recharge on the 12v system. Working very well. Highly recommend.

AMAZING!! Well worth the money! We used to use a plastic round bait bucket with battery operated bubbler that would leak water if filled too high or would easily tip over if I didn't hold it between my feet while my husband drove to the marina. Shrimp would get stuck in the lid area when we would dump out our remaining bait. This unit is insulated, the top secures with two latches, the drop-in net is easy to raise to grab your bait and the unit is easy to clean. Best of all...the 36-hour lithium battery so we don't have to worry about the batter running out while we are spending the day fishing. The lithium battery pugs in with a USB cord...easy to use! Be mindful that the manufacturer ships this product, not Amazon, so prepare to wait 1-2 weeks if you need it on a specific day for a gift. We ordered 4 days before Father's Day and were sad to see online that it would take 1-2 weeks to get. To our surprise, it was delivered on the Saturday before Father's Day so we were happy our gift arrived online. To all the people (like my husband!) out there saying $100+ is too much for a bait bucket, buy this for yourself as a treat or ask for it as a gift! It is the best investment, just like a good fishing rod & reel, for your day out fishing! You will never have to buy another bait bucket again!

Very durable with the stainless hinges. Variable speed pump has long battery life and easy to recharge. Great Product

Works great. When fully charged, it stayed on for almost 2 days without charging.

Husband uses this for his fishing trips quite often. So far it's been durable and reliable with no leaks. Easy to pack and fit on thw 4wheeler and boat. Have not put ice in it but it keeps the fish and bait alive.

I really like this cooler for the obvious reason that it holds bait well and the aerator is great, has kept pin fish alive for over 16 hours. What I don’t like: the mounting points. They’re super thin, don’t look very sturdy. So they’re really almost impossible to utilize if you want to use a bungee. Also, the strap (singular) it comes with is designed to act as a shoulder strap? Not long enough to go under the cooler and mount it to anything, only over the top. And has no pad on it. It’s trash to me. I’d rather they not include a strap at all and put more effort into mounting options. Another annoyance is the feet of the cooler. On my kayak, I had to add some height to the feet in order to prevent the rod holders from bearing the weight of the cooler on the edges of the kayak. If they made it so you could screw on some additional height to the feet (or subtract it), that would make the cooler more adaptable. I’d also recommend that Engle make the height of the rod holders on the cooler adjustable. Some rods these days are super long and don’t make sense to have stored at the height they are at. One last gripe. The latches constantly get stuck under the lid. In low light situations or when you’re moving quickly you constantly find yourself closing the lid on the latches. It’s annoying and it’s affecting the seal of the gasket of the cooler’s hinged top. I’m sure there’s a simple way to prevent that for Engle in the future.

Great product - Brought the smaller cooler, the only issue i have is that i wish i would have gone BIGGER!!! Have recommended this to friends in the fishing community (who have purchased 8 so far! ) all bigger than ours :(. They love them- keeps the live wells available for the catch and use this for bait. Works well for Kayaks and boats, charges quickly and holds the charge, easy to grasp bait quickly when the bite is on… quick clean up. Would definitely buy again- if you are on the fence for the size, suggest learning into the larger size- you won’t be sad that you did!

Expensive but if you’re tired of wasting minnows like I am it’s worth it. A little noisy on highest setting. Might get a bigger stone for it but works fine.

Awesome bait keeping cooler. Used it with around 100 minnows inside, nothing bad to report. Its worth its price with the lithium aerator. Not noisy at all and Im very pleased with my purchase!
