I bought the NuBlume Blue Oyster Mushroom BloomBox as a first time mushroom grower. It arrived the next day just as it said it would. The packaging is modern and attractive with an immense amount of pertinent information such as USA made, 1% to the planet reinvestment, details on the mushroom being grown, USDA organic, instructions for growing g, and a QR for all the information printed right on the attractive packaging. As far as the 1st grow went I purchased the Blue Oyster Mushroom Box. It said expect pinning by the 5th-7th day. Here on the Galveston-Houston gulf coast I had pinning by day 2. I am literally sitting here on day 3 watching the fruiting develop right before my eyes! I am loving my first attempt at growing mushrooms. NuBlume has made it fast, simple, fun, attractive, informative, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The box says flip over for the second grow! I will post if my experience changes after grow #2. But I don't think it will. Well done NuBlume!

Not even pin mushrooms. We ordered three mushroom kits from three companies. We started them at the same time. They are all in the same spot, with the same spraying time, air flow, and light. These are the only that did not sprout. One kit is on its second round, and this one has not even a tiny pin mushroom. The set-up looked the most thorough- a tent, nice glass bottle, clear instructions. Turns out none of that matters, because the simplistic, cheaper kit was far more successful.

It's been a week and they're growing but they're certainly not blue like the picture.

I've praised these folks before. These mushrooms really want to grow! This kit removes every unnecessary step. I sliced the box, misted lightly, and watched Blue Oysters double in size day after day. Eight days later, I was chowing down on a nice pasta with mushroom sauce. There's definitely something cool about the genetics here. Literally the fastest growing, biggest harvest, super beautiful, and three harvests. These fungi seem to thrive at typical household temperatures. Most homes already sit right in their comfort zone, which makes this kit unusually reliable. I placed it on a counter, followed the instructions, and let the mushrooms do their thing. I'm tempted to try my own tent with a whole bunch of boxes now. They are really fun. The kit includes everything you need: a solid misting bottle, a simple humidity tent, and a fully colonized block that clearly arrived ready to fruit. The mushrooms were meaty, savory, and rich, with a texture that sears beautifully. Grocery-store mushrooms don't compare. (I can never find the blue ones anyway!) The packaging makes this an easy gift for people who feel hard to shop for. They might even make a new friend. (Chris, the "help dude," will literally chat on the phone to explain things.) It's really not complicated. I was just making it a big deal because I'm a compulsive. I do note that when I got 'em, they were 5 bucks less expensive than others. Great deal.

Cant get them fresher at the store, first run took 6 days after openng the bag, was about 90 grams and they taste good

The instructions included in the box are great and a few mushrooms did grow but, definitely not enough for the price of the item. The few mushrooms I did get were a bit tough but very tasty. Just wish there had been more so I could justify another purchase. Unfortunately not.

Had a fun time with this. Got more grows than what was advertised. Great sauted on a sandwich. I loved it. Got the pink one and didn't come with substrate in the bag. That idk how it is
