Easy to install and very convenient
I love my Berkey but it is kind of a pain to keep fresh water on hand if you can't see what is in the lower section (i.e., what is ready to drink). I had to keep lifting the upper part or guessing from the flow rate to decide if it was time to refill the upper section. This sight glass installed in less than 5 minutes and has totally eliminated that feeling of unease about how much water is in the filter. Love it.

I wish it was all stainless...
This unit is okay, but I wish it was offered in stainless steel with a stainless steel handle and a graduated stainless shroud over the sight glass. If you own the AlexaPure water filtration unit, but wish it had a sight glass, this is the spigot you want.

Decent only complaint would be that the spout is a little small so when filling large pots or water botles it takes a bit longer
