holds a lot, easy to put up and take down
I got this as a temporary measure because my wardrobe collapsed and a new one won't be delivered for a week. I wanted something that would store my clothes dust free until I could put the new one up. I've had one before and it lasted a couple of years so I was hoping this would be sturdy enough for a week. This is really easy to put up, you don't need the instructions, just the diagram on the front page. It took me and my other half around 45 minutes and half of that was trying to read the tiny foil stickers on the bags of pieces. The shelves are cloth but pretty tight when they go on, so they end up being fairly solid. The plasticky cloth is vile but goes on easily and is easy to zip up and tie on. The wardrobe as a whole is ugly as sin but it does the job, I wouldn't get this as a permanent main wardrobe as it isn't nice to look at at all, but for temporary arrangements and/or guest rooms I guess it's fine.As to sturdiness, I don't rate it highly on that level. It would be fine for hanging kids clothes and things you don't use much. I had to put an entire double wardrobe of men's clothes in it and it will get used every day, so it is definitely straining and moves around a lot. It is not as sturdy as the previous one from argos at all, the rods are at least metal but it is not thick metal and it will rock from side to side if you don't balance it right. It will be fine for a week but feels super light and flimsy. It could do with another shelf toward the bottom on the left, under the hangar, to steady it.On the plus side, which is why I gave it five stars, it is extremely light and fairly large. It is easy to put up and down, and stores in a very small box that I can keep in the shed just in case I need it again. It would be great for a child's bedroom as the clothes would be a lot lighter. The metal parts are thin but the connections are solid enough and very easy to use, there is no hard work to get everything solidly in place. You can buy more solid ones but this is the easiest to put together by miles. If you're in need of a large, easy wardrobe for spare clothes or guests, or even small kids, it would be fine. The fabric is revolting, but fine. Comes apart easily too, so great if you're moving around a lot.

Good capacity and better than anticipated.
Had a similar product from Dunelm but it collapsed. So far seems sturdy enough - not had long enough to comment on long-term durability and use.Holds loads - just keep in mind not to overdo it. But coped with the load we've given it thus far. Assembly was quick and easy - BUT DO CHECK parts before you construct as I was missing a couple of poles! But they were very promptly sent to me!

Great temporary wardrobe, easy to erect.
I couldn't be happier with this wardrobe.I bought it because we were moving and our wooden wardrobes wouldn't go through the door of the bedroom, having been built in there. After reading the reviews I was apprehensive about buying this but I needed it quick and, as I'm disabled, can't do flat pack any more. It arrived really quickly and was well packed. On the day of the move me and my friend (who is also disabled) set about putting this up.While the instructions were garbled English, the pictures were clear enough to put it together. Also, from looking at the finished article, it was easy to figure out what went where. Within half an hour we had it finished. No rips or tears at all. I was also able to move it around while empty as it is so light.3 months later and it is still up. We are using it every day, zipping and unzipping it several times. We have even stored some light objects on top of it and it still looks like new, no bent or broken spars at all.The only thing that is damaged is one of the ties that holds down the strip between the big door and the shelves has come off. I think that was my fault though as I put some heavy items inside and they fell over and made it rip.All in all its a fantastic piece of temporary bedroom furniture that is really cheap.

Good value interim measure
We bought this as a temporary wardrobe 3 years ago and we still have it. It’s easy to put up but you need to be careful when taking it down. The poles get stuck in the joiner parts and brake quite easily if too much pressure is applied to separate them. Generally though it’s a good space saver and an ideal interim fix if you’re saving for built in wardrobes.

100 separate parts to put together
This is really, really difficult and time consuming to put together. There are 100 separate parts to this with six different lengths of poles (the bags they come in are labelled with letters although one wasn't. It would have been MUCH more helpful if the poles themselves had been labelled) and 5 different types of connectors. Broke after three days of being up. A massive let down.

Three Stars
It's ok temporarily and sturdier than some I've seen

Suits my needs just right.
I needed some more storage space for some clothes.Since I am a student and I currently live in rented accommodation, I did not want to spend a huge amount on a sturdy wardrobe. This does the job just right.PROs:Quite easy to assemble. Took less than an hour. (I am no expert by any means)Hold quite a lot of clothes and it supports a surprising amount of weight.CONs:It looks pretty cheap and gets dirty quite easy. (it is !)Don't smash it or hit it in any way (accident ...) or else you will have to reassemble. It looks pretty ugly but I was expecting this. Not a big minus for me, in my situation.I would definitely not buy this for the apartment of my dreams, but for a quick, cheap hack, is perfect.

Quality and value.
Very impressive wardrobe. Pretty easy to assemble and quite sturdy. I was amazed what value for money this unit is. I would highly recommend buying 6 furniture cups to put the feet in as they will allow you to move the wardrobe without fear of damage by getting caught in the pile of the carpet.
