I’ve been eyeing this key fob replacement on their website ever since I bought my new Taco. Finally saw it on sale on Amazon had to pull the trigger. I ordered the cement gray and a great price. Couldn’t be more happier with the purchase. The case is very well made and easy to install. The only issue was the side spring that releases the tailgate key is a little difficult to keep on while putting it together. Once you get it on, it’s a matter of just securing the screws and you’re all set. Looks and feels awesome on there. Very well made. This is my second product from this company and I really recommend them to anyone looking to customize their Toyo. The other purchase I made was their radio knobs. Easier to turn compared to the stock ones on the radio.

I don't typically write reviews, but since Adam from AJT Design is a small business, I would like to help with a review.AJT's design products are USA-made, and he stands by everything he makes. AJT has all its products on YouTube for an easy step-by-step installation.This quicksand color matched pretty well as you can see up close to my 2017 quicksand Tacoma. The plastic housing is durable, and the key fob pops out easily after a few iterations. I have no complaints at this time of review. Works as advertised. Worth the money.

Needed upgrade after my OEM spring broke (I dropped my keys) Incredibly easy instal with or without the video for reference. All the buttons fit nice and tight in the housing. Key is a little tight, but I'd rather have that than the opposite. It's got a little more weight to it than the OEM fob. Overall I like it a lot. Debating on whether to replace my spare-key housing, too, now.

Wasn’t as sturdy as I had thought. But it was a cool key cover nonetheless. I just went with another one I found to be a bit more secure/heavy duty.

So let me start off by saying that I am a professional locksmith and as such have seen every kind of aftermarket shell in existence. Customizing keys is a totally normal thing and really makes the ownership of that car just that much more satisfying.Now I knew there were certain brands that I would avoid and others that I thought were ok, but not great. I am extremely picky when it comes to how things fit together and function. When I saw AJT had an option for my new truck, I figured I would check them out and made the purchase.I wasn’t expecting to like this shell as much as I do. The moment I opened the package I could tell this was a much higher quality than I am used to seeing in my day to day job. Swapping the buttons was easy and they fit in exactly where they should with no issues and perfect tolerances. In the factory key shell there is a little piece of foam inside to keep the board from rocking side to side and cushion the chip. The AJT shell is molded to fit the chip exactly, no cushion needed. There is zero over mold plastic sticking out on the seam where the two halves meet, so no sharp edges that need to be trimmed off. Even the emergency blade fits better than the factory shell. No wiggle whatsoever, but slides out easily if needed.Assembly is straightforward, but if you’ve never done something like it, you may find it challenging. But with all aftermarket shells, patience is important. I’ve put together thousands of these things and they are always tricky when trying not to lose a spring or pinch anything. Just take it slow and you will get it.I can’t say enough about the quality of this shell, so I will just sum it up; buy it, you will love it!

3 of 4 corners began to crack jeopardizing the $650 fob (dealer price)Purchased bc my fob was easily disconnected from the key, while this DID work there, downsides and longevity make this a bad purchase, in my opinionRemedy for me was wedge a small PC of dense rubber behind spring actuated key release (stock fob), OEM with Toyota is really better built, lesson learned

I had purchase many items from ajt . The quality is always great .easy to install .

I bought my 4runner second hand. The second key was smashed. This was definitely a cool way to get it back in action.

Poor quality! It does not worth the money I paid!So dissatisfied and dissapointed.I'm returning it ASAP!
