zEighteen Shemagh Olive/Black Scarf

Purchased from militaryops, through amazon.The seller was helpful, as the item didnt arrive on time, so despatched another. Thanks to them for that.When the second sending arrived, in unbranded packaging, I noticed it had a peculiar, rather rancid chemical odour. I assumed thst this was left over from the manufacturing process, so washed it straight away. The green colour came out quite spectacularly, and after two warm washes and three rinses by hand I reckon its probably a couple of shades lighter. The smell has gone though :)Quality wise, well, its a thin scarf, as described, and wholly fit for purpose. Very good value for money from militaryops, and something I will consider buying again.Just be sure to wash it before you wear it, or if you perspire you're gonna go green!

I already had a good quality Shemagh in white but wanted a different colour. These are the most comfortable and flexible scarf's I have ever had. They keep the sun off in Summer and are the warmest in winter. This one was a lot cheaper than my original but does seem to be almost as good and comfortable.

Quick delivery and great item. It's thin but it's for hot weather so that's great. I bought one to begin with but a family member metioned they liked it so bought one for their birthday and another for myself while i was at it.

Good size, thin on the single layer, but once you double it up (which you always will to wear it) it seems to have decent strength.Definitely rinse before you wear it though and a s*** ton of extra dye comes out and you dont want that on your face, your QM doesnt want it on your kit.Overall, great product for the price, does exactly what it claims to do!

Just like the ones I used to wear back in 60's and 70's when in the middle east in the sandy waste desert land.
