Artec360 Needle Felting Kits for Beginners - 8 Cactus Kits with Gift Box - Instruction for Starter

So I have never felted before, and I’m not the craftiest person, but my first succulent turned out super cute and it wasn’t as complicated as I thought it was going to be. My piece did turn out about 10x larger than the instructions called for (this girl knows inches, not centimeters), but looking at my supplies, I still have plenty of wool left over to complete the rest of the projects. The whole process took about the length of “Love Actually,” including the time it took to watch some tutorials online. Although the kit itself does come with instructions, if you’ve never felted before, the instructions make zero sense. But after a quick felting for beginners video onYou Tube, I was ready to go!

These little plants are so cute! They look almost real! I had fun making it, all supplies needed were included and of high quality. Directions were easy to follow with pictures to guide you so anyone can make these! The wool was so soft and colorful. The perfect colors for the project. I can't wait to finish them all and have my little succulent garden! And best of all - no watering!

This is my first time needle-felting, and in order to get going, I had to look up some tutorials online. The instructions assume you know how to at least start off. The instructions are essentially, "felt x, then felt y, then felt z, then attach them." The illustrations are super helpful, but there is a lot of trial and error.It would especially have been helpful to know the quantities to start felting with in order to get the size of felted material that the instructions call for. Other tips along the way (like techniques for not getting the color of felt mixed up on the foam pad) would have been very appreciated. I struggle with felting the tiny details, and with keeping the flower pot even. At some point when you are felting the pots, you can't compress anything anymore. My first attempt at a pot turned out too big and I actually had to cut the top off -- but I was able to reuse the wool for the next pot, so it was fine. Also, if you stab the needle all the way through, the colors get mixed.I would alter the instructions a bit --add the dirt last, around your plant, to keep it looking fluffy and to not have it be hidden under the leaves/stem.I've also had to adjust and use a pillow under my elbow, since my first try gave me shoulder and neck pain for days! Stab gently! I had one needle break during my first cactus--I'm not sure if that's because of a poor quality needle or if I was stabbing too hard! The kit comes with three needles, so for now I'm okay.I think having experience with another art or craft form is good for this sort of thing in order to make sure that your end result is visually appealing. You'll probably need to make changes as you go. (In the pictures, I changed the flower design/placement because the flower came out too big originally, and I added another leaf to the succulent.) I've made two of these so far and I'm pleased with the results. The wool in these kits is so soft and the colours are lovely.

Super fun kit. The cactus are too cute. Comes with everything you need! Absolutely wonderful consumer service. Will return again!

This needle felting kit is fantastic!!! It is including everything you need. Personally, I love the finger protectors. It didn’t take me too long to finish the first project. I can’t wait till I finish all of them!!! There is a little thing need to improve that the instructions needs more details. It will be a little bit hard to follow for first time craftpersons.

The materials look cute but it is my problem that I only made one and almost gave up trying to do the others. The one I did look pretty cute but I have to admit that I haven’t figured out the best way to do this handcraft. The instruction /Manuel wasn’t quite helpful for me. It tells you the steps but cannot teach Olufon how to master the necessary skills. I found some YouTube tutoring video to see how to start. Please, if you are a complete beginner like me, note that it is not as easy as you imagine to be.

Je n’ai jamais rien fait en feutre et j’ai adoré l'expérience. J’ai visionné des vidéos avant de me lancer. Cet ensemble est parfait pour un débutant. Il me reste trois modèles là faire et j’ai amplement de laine pour en faire plusieurs autres. C’est un cadeau idéal pour les gens avec un côté artistique. J’adore et je compte bien commander d’autres matériel pour faire d’autres creations

This is an excellent set, 10 cacti made by my 12yr old daughter so far... looking fabulous in a row. I will be ordering more sets for her friends birthday gifts, and more felting wool to continue the hobby. Very happy!

Came as described and I enjoyed creating all these little cacti figures. Instructions with pictures were adequate. More than enough felt was provided for each project so I still have some leftover material. The felt itself was good with only the occasional small debris I had to pick out. The packaging was good too and it came with a cute little card with a nice thank you note written from the seller.

Really nice but as a beginner the instructions could be better. Good job there is YouTube
