Charice

Being a big fan of Glee,I love Charices voice when she guest stars on the show so bought this cd.I love it,and enjoy singing along to the songs.Only problem, its not long enough but price does reflect this.The songs are varied from ballads to funky.I consequently bought  Infinity which is just as goodand I would recommend this too.

Charice has an amazing voice and so glad I bought this CD, would love to hear her music played more widely, she deserves the recognition.

Fantastic album

I just love this CD. Charice first popped into our radar in Glee. The kids love her so do I. This lass has a superb voice. I wish there are more singers of this calibre. The delivery was as usual fantastic.

Charice has got a great voice, and you can tell her influences from Celine Dion.Whilst technically perfect, the lyrics can be bland and bit conservative.A bit of a diva with a dash of kiddie hip hop star with innocent 90s style lyrics?Don't get me wrong. I like her.I just don't get the disney lyrics! She could be so much more.Her album cover says she's sassy, grown up, but her lyrics are trapped in the 90s!Disappointed.p.s Liked the filipino rap in one of the styles.The price is ok, but I would have paid more if the album was any good.Joe's wife

An diesem Album merkt man wie feinfühlig Charice an die Songs heranging und wie gefühlsbetont sie es vertonte und das mit einer imposanten starken Stimme. Charice Pempengco ist eine kleine philippinische Sängerin mit einer imposanten starken Stimme. Manche werden sie vielleicht durch einige Kurzauftritte in der TV-Serie „Glee“ als Sunshine Corazon oder aus der Komödie „Das Schwergewicht“, „Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel“ und „Celine: Through the Eyes of the World als sie selbst“ kennen. Ihr Karrierebeginn begann mit einer Realty-Show und trat anschließend in einer koreanischen Show auf. Sie sang Duette mit Celine Dion und Andrea Bocceli und tritt seit Jahren auch in Amerika in diversen Shows und Konzerten auf.Charice ist das erste Album und stammt aus 2008. Es folgten weitere Alben wie My Inspiration (2009), Charice (2010; mit anderen Musikinhalten), Infinity (2011, eine Japan Edition), Chapter 10 sowie viele Singles.Ich kann musikalisch eine Musik-CD nicht beschreiben. Denn dies ist einfach Geschmackssache. Die Musiktiteln gehen wie bei den nachfolgenden Alben gut ins Ohr und sind modern, bleiben aber nicht lange im Gedächtnis hängen oder sind richtiggehende Ohrwürmer. Aber die Stimme von Charice reißt jedes Album raus und man kann sich nicht an ihr satt hören. Sie hat wie schon erwähnt eine starke Stimme und bringt jedes Lied sehr betont rüber. Ihre Stimme klingt erwachsen (wenn man ihre Körpergröße bedenkt) und geht in unglaubliche Höhen.

Sie singt wunderschön. Leider ist sie nicht sonderlich bekannt und wie sagt man so schön einer der "underrated artists". Es ist schade zu sehen, dass Talente wie zB Charice keine Weltstars sind, während andere, die keinen Ton treffen Millionen für ihre Autotune-Songs und Playback-Shows verdienen. Vielleicht liegt es unter anderem an einer eher dürftigen Promotion und schlechtem Management oder auch an der Auswahl der Songs, die schon auch teilweise etwas seicht sind und leicht wieder vergessen werden....Thank you ist mein Lieblingslied auf diesem Album.

Eine sensationelle Sängerin von den Philippinen. Habe ihre Entwicklung Jahre lang verfolgt, bis nach Las Vegas, mit David Forster. Hatte das Talent eines Weltstars, hat sich dann aber leider entschieden, als Mann weiterzuleben.

Good but not as well produced as her appearances on David Foster s Hit Man Bluray which was outstanding. absolutely stunning, spine tingling performance, on both the 2008 and 2010 releases.
