The perfect small, rugged UV light. It feels weighty and solid in the hand. It turned right on when I opened it. I just wish it were a little brighter for using it in brightly lit places where you can’t turn the lights off. It’s super easy to turn on and focus though, and I love that it’s small enough that I can attach it to my keys for hunting for uranium glass in thrift shops. It also shows dust and residue very well so I could see it being perfect for finding uncleaned spots in hotels, bathrooms, etc. It also just looks cool and tactical attached to your keys. It doesn’t seem to get too hot either, just slightly warm. I highly recommend this mini UV flashlight for glass collectors, mechanics, or inspectors, just be aware that it’s not as bright as high grade ones and performs best in the dark.

This review is for a DARKBEAM UV 365nm Light Wood's lamp Blacklight Ultraviolet Flashlight. I purchased this to help test if sunscreen is UV blocking and it did a wonderful job of helping me eliminate sunscreen in my home that is not UV blocking or has expired. It's also handy for helping find pet stains that need to be cleaned up. It works on wood, tile, carpet, cloth and skin. The UV light is incredibly strong but make sure to do this in a dark room and do not shine it in your eyes! The torch is the perfect size to carry around without being bulky, has a really well enforced clip with strong screws to keep it in place and the button to activate it is easy to push. The torch is heavy but because it's made from heavy duty metal, but not burdensome. The design of the light is perfect and it fits in my hand easily while being able to push the button easily. I'd recommend this to anyone! My photos show the UV light in use as well as the overall design of it.

It works for finding cat urine, but it’s not as bright as I anticipated. I had to shine the light very close to the ground to see anything.

Excellent little light, not to much not to little. does a good job of detecting adverse elements and of course minerals, a great light for everyday carry fun and east to use. a great product reasonable priced.

Nice mini UV light. Makes stuff fluoresce nice and brightly. Well compared to the other UV flashlights I have. It's small size makes it easy to carry around unlike those huge hulking UV flashlights.

This worked beautifully in determining if my cat caught ringworm. It’s the appropriate wavelength to fluoresce ringworm (wood lamp test) which shows up candy apple green. Not all variety of ringworm fluoresces under black light. It allowed me to already have a diagnosis and get a jump start on medication before seeing the vet. It also works well in looking for stains on carpet.

I had to return this unfortunately as the UV beam just isn’t strong enough. In the video I am shining this one (the weaker one) versus a more expensive better quality UV flashlight ($40), and you can really tell the difference in what it shows, and the strength of the beam. If you’re looking for a super cheap UV flashlight and don’t care much for having it be super strong and accurate, this is a good price. It feels sturdy enough and comes with a battery, plus it’s super light and has a clip to attach to your belt if you’d like. Comfortable to hold too, but just doesn’t match my needs.

I got this to check cash to ensure it was legit (the markings on bills that only show up under UV light) and it works great. We also have cats and we wanted to see if we could find where they sprayed. Research indicates you need the 356-370nm light spectrum for this, so we picked this torch. It does detect cat urine. Apparently dog urine requires a higher nm number, not sure why, but haven't tested that. It seems a bit dimmer than I would have hoped, but it is LED and runs off one battery. If you need something super bright, would maybe recommend something with more power.

This product caught my eye for a 365nm UV light with small size. Price was comparable to the same product at Amazon.com (US store) so I ordered it. It does the job, strong UV light and practical, I did a few tests on it and all works well. The light is small and easily fits on your palm. So far, I am a happy customer.
