Sits solidly on my wide headboard
Since my headboard is quite wide, the cute lamps with shades that hook over the headboard won't work. This is the first model I've had that is counter-weighted enough to sit solidly on my headboard and is easy to turn on and off, plus it's dimmable. It does take a certain kind of bulb which may or may not be a problem to find a replacement.

Love this lamp for reading
Just what I needed! I was looking for a reading lamp that didnโt require me attaching it to my wall or taking up space on my nightstand. This was easy to put together and fits perfectly between my headboard and the wall. Love the fact that the light is dimmable. Works great for late night reading while still allowing my husband to sleep next to me. He hasnโt complained about it keeping him awake at all.

Difficult switch
Unusual On off switch is difficult to use. Difficult for me to use and needs to be wall mounted. It wonโt sit on n stand without tipping over. It is a bright reading light though.

Dimmer switch
I like the dimmer switch. I use the low light for late night excursions. I use the brighter light to read in bed. Doesnโt take up room on nightstand. Has a minimalist look.
