I love my Ratio 6 coffee-maker. Until I bought this filter, I was using paper filters and I often ended up with grounds in my coffee. This filter totally solves that issue. The way the filter locks in under the shield and no grounds can get through. I am really pleased with this basket. Since it didn't list the Ratio 6 as a brand it was compatible with, I wasn't sure if I would keep it. It is completely compatible, and I couldn't be happier!

I balked a bit at the cost, especially when there are cheaper ones available that look very similar, but in the end I'm glad I got it as it fits my Ratio Six perfectly. Paper filters sometimes fold over when brewing which can be frustrating, and other wire/mesh filters I've used tend to leave some sediment, but this Able Basket is perfect and helps brew a good cup of coffee. I use low- or medium-roast beans and a medium grind, so I could imagine this not being so effective with a finer grind or darker roast because of the tiny holes. It's also easy to clean up. My only quibble is that it does feel a touch delicate and thin, so you need a careful hand when washing and drying it not to bend the metal.

Does not fit a BUNN Coffee maker. If trying to use for BUNN, does not work,

My old reusable basket would overflow regularly because I like strong coffee and it wasn’t tall enough to hold the extra grounds so I would have grounds at the bottom of my cup. This basket is sturdy and easy to clean AND it’s tall enough so I don’t have grounds at the bottom of my cup

I bought it because it’s supposed to fit a 12 cup coffee maker. It fits in there very loosely. I can use it when I make up to 6 cups but I will still have to use a paper filter when making more than that as it won’t hold enough ground coffee. As you can see in the photo the metal filter is considerably smaller than the plastic piece that holds the filter. For the price shouldn’t it fit? It’s also very thin. You have to be careful washing it so you don’t bend it.

It’s a little bit larger than it should be. If you push it down it works fine. Odd they didn’t take accurate measurements before manufacturing.

Tried market cheap filters that come apart on first use don’t waste money on themDidn’t have fitment issues worked like champ makes excellent coffee no grounds get thru do to tiny holes have to hold it up to light to see all holes highly recommend to anyone tired of grounds in cup and wonky paper filters buy one you will like it

Excellent value. As bit of a pain to clean but worth the savings over buying paper filters.

No appreciable difference in flavour from paper filters; don't waste your money on this item.
