So like a previous reviewer, I did not use this on my vehicle. I used it for sound deadening in the wall between the kids bathroom and my bedroom during the remodel. Let me tell you, I was surprised how well it worked. Virtually no noise between the bathroom and my bedroom now. Traditionally I always used the name brand for my vehicles. But I thought I would give this a try since I already spent so much on my remodel. Definitely a good choice. Does it work well in vehicles? No idea, but the performance in a hollow house wall has been amazing. Is it easy to work with? Absolutely. As long as the sticky back doesn't touch itself, your golden. Holds well, and still slightly workable if you need to adjust. Once you push on it, it stays. Would I recommend this product for sound deadening? Absolutely.

Extremely sticky and fragile (tears very easily). Easily will stick to itself and then is unusable. Tears extremely easily, so care must be taken when handling. Technique of sticking an edge and then pulling the backing out in the direction away from the stuck edge while gradually rolling the material onto the surface. This is especially necessary when insulating tight spaces, like car doors. Thick, looks good, and provides extra sound deadening & heat retention.

Very sticky backing. Once it down ,its down. Good sound barrier, and help the vibration of the gas tank I carry on the truck.

Picked this up during a car stereo install and used it around the speaker mount/surround area. The material is super soft and really easy to work with—cuts clean, bends where you need it, and doesn’t fight you during install. Adhesive is… adequate. Not insanely aggressive, but it holds fine as long as you prep the surface and press it in well. For the price and the amount you get, it’s a solid value. Not some ultra-premium deadening solution, but perfect for targeted use like speakers where you want a little extra dampening without going overboard. Simple, effective, and worth it for the money.

I bought a lot of this for the interior of my car. It works great. For some reason thos order no longer has the straight cut lines on the back so that you can easily get a straight cut. With the lines gone it makes it harder to cut straight with out having to get the ruller out and mark it then cut it.

The insulating roll was purchased to cover the interior hood of a car. The factory insulation was sagging and not staying in place, causing a nuissance when servicing the vehicle. The insulation was easy to installvafter cleaning the mating surface. Although thinner than the factory insulation, it foes a better job in reducing the audible engine noise and appears to insulate heat very well. I did not buy enough for my project and required a second roll. Definitely recommend it as it works well at a fraction of what similar insulation rolls cost.

Con el rollo de 1,67m², me ha dado para aislar bastante un Peugeot 206. Pude hacerle pasos de rueda, puertas y parte del maletero, y la mejora es muy notable. No lo ha dejado silencioso, pero porque ni he hecho todo el coche, ni soy profesional y porque en general y por construcción del vehiculo va a haber ruido en el habitáculo. Pero realmente es mucho menos, antes en una nacional a 90 ya hablaba casi gritando, y ahora puedo mantener un tono normal. Fácil de instalar, solo hace falta tiempo que dedicarle al asunto en un sitio para hacerlo tranquilamente
