Works well
Bought this for my elderly mother, she uses it to help her get out of bed in the morning. Works well and makes it easier to get up.

Assists to rolling over in a big bed.
It works very well strapped to the side of the bed. I use it as an aide to help me roll over and re adjust. Great product and well made.

immediately helpful. Long term? time will tell
this is a very nice tool to have. I put it on the centerline of a tempurpedic adjustable bed using the metal rail that retains the foot of the mattress, and it has been very good to have from the jump - for repositioning myself, for sitting up, for getting out of bed. (I'm a cancer patient with a lot of weight loss following abdominal surgery; my core strength is very low.) I can see it will also be a great rescue tool - last week I drifted to the edge of the bed while asleep, halted my fall by putting my head on the bedside table - and needed another 20 minutes to figure out a way to lever myself upright and get out of bed. that experience prompted my purchase of rails and this ladder. i will get the rails up when possible; this was a one-person job with immediate, large benefit. all that said, I do look at this tool and wonder how long it will last. the assembly of the middle rung on my copy introduces 2 unneeded points of failure - the main ring of fabric is cut on each side and the rung is attached at the cut, as is the loop which holds the top rung in place. If the çenter rung was joined the same way that bottom rung is, by leaving the webbing intact and joining to it as it went past, there would be no need for those two cuts - and probably fewer reviews reporting early failure of the ladder. Time will tell, and I will look into other fabric ladders. It seems possible that someone makes a bunk bed or treehouse ladder which offers similar functionality if attached to a bed.

Thank Goodness I Found The Bed Ladder!
If I could give the Vive Bed Ladder 10 stars I would do so. I am recovering from major abdominal surgery and the bed ladder has made all the difference for me when it comes to getting myself out of the bed. The setup is so simple! The black webbing is attached to the foot board of the bed. Mine is attached at the middle point of the foot board and it extends up towards the head board. The “rungs” of the ladder give you a cushioned but firm grip that allow you to pull yourself up in the bed. I use the middle grip to pull myself up while I swing my legs over the side of the bed so that I can sit on the edge of the bed before standing up. I can only speak to how useful the bed ladder is to me after abdominal surgery but I can easily imagine how useful it could be for other health related issues. It has been a game changer for me!

Heavy duty construction
This is very convenient for helping sitting up and getting out of bed. It attached to the bottom of the bed frame at the foot of the bed and then stretches up to be used. No tools required. I'm a heavy - set person and it holds fine. The ladder part is covered with foam where you grab it. I was struggling to get out of bed and this is great.

Great assist device!
This was a great investment when my grandmother had a stroke. This strap had been a life saver for both of us to assist with getting in and out of the bed. If you are a caregiver, please don't hesitate to buy this. Easy to install on the bed.

Very helpful gadget
Very helpful gadget. I struggle to get out of bed in the morning due to a sore back/ hip. This doesn’t take the pain away but it does help, with some exertion, to help you sit up ready to swing your legs out ready to stand.

Trouble Sitting Up in Bed...here's the solution
This product is wonderful. I have difficulty sitting up in bed and was able to attach this device securely to the end of the bed and then use the "ladder" to pull myself up hand over hand. Very strongly made, yet the handles are soft so you can keep it beside you as you sleep.
