Purchased for our Grandchildren
In an effort to teach our 7 year old more about handling money we read her this book and gave her a gift of a piggy bank that has slots for various purposes i.e. spend, save, invest, give. I must say she was more interested in the piggy bank than the story and pictures depicted in this book. Maybe she's a little too young for the concept of investing so story did not hold her interest. The idea has been planted and I will set the book aside until next year. seven may be too young for the many lessons it teaches.

I Give this Book to My Own Kids and to Elementary School Classes
Great lessons about earning, saving and minimizing thoughtless spending, while still including a few fun digs at the goofiness and silliness of Papa Bear's authority figure.I give this book to the elementary school children I'm invited to teach each year, along with a checklist for their parents on how to talk about money with their kids. Every school library had better have a copy of this book. It's particularly suitable for 1st through 3rd graders, although children a little younger and bit older will enjoy it as well.Todd-Author, "Everyday Money for Everyday People"

Awesome!!!
I'm an Elementary School Teacher and love reaching my students through literature. I designed a lesson plan about money for primary grade students. This book uses a cute approach to teaching about overspending, saving, earning, etc. This is a great resource to teach children the basic concepts of economics. My four-year-old thinks it's entertaining as well. I just love the books that teach lessons as they tell the stories with their words and illustrations. I got this book for a great price from the seller, the book arrived in my mailbox promptly, and the book was in excellent condition.

Defective
We received our copy of Trouble with Money and half way through the book it changed to a completely different story (New Neighbors) for 5 pages, so we lost part of the story. I requested a new copy and when it arrived, the exact same thing happened. Buyer beware. I would recommend buying this item from a physical store, so you can ensure you are receiving the entire story. Both books are completely useless to us now.

Book is missing 8 pages!
I finally gifted my daughter with this book and the centre 8 pages are a different Berenstain Bear book! I am not able to return it because the return timeline has passed. This is no excuse for sending an incomplete book to a customer in the first place. Where's the quality assurance? Make sure you read the book upon arrival.

Classic children’s book
Read and enjoyed these series of books as a child and decided to buy a bunch of the books for my niece. She loves them. A few of them had bent corners and a small crease
