Loved this product even have shared this link with multiple people. We bought the black tint for our storm door as I can’t stand people being able to see in our home. We have a light gray door and during the day you can not see in at all from the outside. From the inside we can clearly see out! Will buy again for our sliding doors!Cons: This is definitely a 2 person job! Black squeegee sucks it’s super hard and difficult to use. Our tube didn’t NOT come with a knife rather a smaller card size to help smooth out the tint. I ended up using this versus the black squeegee. I did not box cutter on hand but was able to cut the tint with a pocket knife that did tear the film in certain spots. For the missing knife is the only reason I’m rating 4 stars ⭐️Pros: everything else is amazing. This was my first time ever doing tint and I was able to do it with minimal assistance from a helper to hold the roll while I removed the film.

We added thsi film to a set of patio doors that get direct, late afternoon sun. Once installed, they do provide both a reduction in sunlight and a semi-reflective look from outside.Cons:1. The usual poor quality instructions that you expect with a Chinese product. As many others have said, be generous with the soapy water and it is defintely not a single person project.2. The hard plastic squeegee is worthless - too rigid and too small. Fortunately, I already had a wider and softer one that made the job much easier.We tried both cutting to size before and trimming after installation - didn't see much benefit either way. Trimming after applying did.allow me to leave about a 1 mm gap between the edge of the film and the window frame to avoid cutting into the weatherstripping. I doubt we could have trimmed that accurately beforehand.Overall, a decent product once installed.

3 stars because it is as described and it is a quality product. It is very difficult to handle and install. Very sturdy and works as described. I watched videos on the install and used soapy water. The tool were included and we're much appreciated. This is NO EASY PROJECT!Impossible to hide the seams! 17.5" is A LOT smaller than you think. Get a tape measure and physically measure your window before ordering. IT IS AS DESCRIBED! BUT it's miserable AF to handle and install. The finish product is as described, but not easy and you'll never hide the seam if you need to install two pieces. ONE ROLL covered one standard house size window. I could only find ONE width size advertised on Amazon. 😔 the bubbles is much a challenge and you NEVER EVER get them all out of the film. The material is exactly as described and could possibly work IF YOURE A PROFESSIONAL WINDOW TINT INSTALLER! Is avoid this aggravation at ALL COST!!!

I’m doing dormer windows so I need “pieces” not a whole sheet at once.1st piece stuck to itself which was fun trying to pull apart the sticky side 🙄Takes awhile to smooth out but I put on a some tunes and zoned while smoothing. Took about 30 minutes to make sure no bubbles2nd piece took longer because I had to use the included knife to FIND the edge to pull apart!I did 5 12x15 windows. Not bad really

It is a 2 person job. Our front door faces the East and gets sun a lot of the day. I’m not a professional installer. I wasn’t sure how well it would turn out. But opened the door yesterday and seen the difference. The spray bottle could have been bigger. Overall happy with how it turned out.

The tint is great, it was easy.enough to work with with the tools provided. It will drastically reduce heat and uv in my food truck once i have all the windows covered. I measured incorrectly and will have to get two more rolls for the drivers side. I think twice as much tint per roll would be a great idea.

Not easy to apply on larger windows due to thinness of productWorks extremely well once applied. Though crease or bend created during application will be visible.

We like it pitch black in our bedroom. I did our bottom half of windows in black out and too half in one way window clings for heat reduction. I wanted to see which one I liked best. You can see the sun reflected the top half but nothing on the bottom half. I’m going to keep it like this because I’m getting Roman Shades and I do want to see out at times. But I had no problem with lights last night. At night, even the one way window coming on top half kept it dark enough.The one way window reflects the sun to reduce heat and keep from setting in during the day, but you can see in at night.The black out are sticky. You must spray with slightly soap water and they go right on. I messed up and was able to pull it off immediately and readjust. They do not allow you to see in or out at any time. It’s completely black. I will say that I did also use the one way window clings under them to reflect the Texas heat from our bedroom. I do not know how the black out does For heat reduction.
