Love this chest protector for my 8 year old baseball player. Keeps him safe and is comfy for him to wear. Fits perfect for my very small 8 year old.

Fits our daughter well and gives a little confidence boost in batters box for competitive softball. The padding is pretty thick but not restrictive she has been wearing it every game for almost a year and it's in great shape

Fits my eight year old son perfect. It is not to puffy when layering clothes over it. I have washed it many times and it still looks brand new. Thankfully he hasn't been hit in the chest but for eight years old it fits well and is nice and firm where it needs to protect. It is lightweight. I feel it is worth the money for protection and piece of mind when they are on the field.

My daughter has played softball for several years and now that she's growing into the larger divisions, the girls are hitting harder and protection becomes a real concern. I actually bought this shirt while standing in my local Dick's sporting goods store looking at a shirt from another brand that looked EXACTLY like this one... same fabric seams, same collar design, same hex protection. The only difference was the logo, and the price (nearly double). Now that I've received the item, yes, it feels identical to the higher priced shirt. As for sizing, I ordered the L and it fits my 8 year old daughter perfectly. She's about average size for the girls on her 8u team, and maybe just a bit tall for her age. She says the shirt is very comfortable, and actually wore it around the house for most of the day we received it. Overall, this seems to be a very similar, if not exactly the same shirt being sold in retail stores for a much more expensive price. Since they're so much cheaper, I ended up buying two because of our hectic game schedule so we can make sure at least one is always clean and ready to go for practice and game days. Highly recommended!

Fits great, this is second time we buy it and it is really great fit, take your regular size. Also it is durable. Not sure how good is protection, but it have some pading in the front, looks pretty good

My son wore it all through last season, and now into a new one. He plays catcher/SS and it's held up.
