Perfect little ricer.

This is perfect for a small 3-4 people family. It's a portable size and it cooks the rice perfectly in texture. This is actually the 2nd time I'm buying this. My sibling also keeps one.

man i really missed my moms rice cooker, i was afraid nothing would ever live up to it. my old roommate's instant pot sucked for rice. but this tiny thing is AMAZING! ngl, i dont even wash my rice anymore. comes out great every time regardless. the screen is a little confusing: it'll show a time [00:00] when its counting down to being done, but only starting when theres 10min left?? before that, you gotta guess. and then when its done, it starts count UP to show how long its been keeping warm. but hey, it works great and its easy to clean, just like moms.

It's a nice looking little rice cooker but thats about it. Its no easier to use or clean than a $20 one and it takes more than double the time to cook. This rice cooker takes 50 minutes to cook one cup of jasmine rice. Brown rice take 1h10m. If you try to cook any more than one cup of dry brown rice then be prepared to soak up the half cup of starchy water that will spit out the top of the cooker and onto the counter. The $20 dollar rice cooker this replaced took 20 minutes and kept all the liquid water inside. Back to the $20 rice cooker for me.

Does a nice job making rice, nice and small form factor for my limited counter space. My inner pot started to peel after about a year and a half, I think because it was left on the keep warm setting too long on my last cook. I reached out to the company, willing to purchase a new inner, but the fantastic customer service sent me a whole new unit!

I’ve cooked with this four times so far, thrice has been rice and once has been oatmeal. It’s turned out great every time. Good texture, easy to use, no leaking, and cooks in about 15-25 mins (unsure since the time only displays once it’s close to finished). The directions are straightforward and cleanup is easy since it is nonstick. It’s also a great size for storage in my limited space.Before buying, I read the reviews and people complained of leaking, but if you follow the directions (filling liquid to the line according to how many cups of grain added and using *their provided cup*), there should be no problem. Also, do not lay things on top where the screen is because of potential scratching.
