FobusWalther PPS 9mm / .40 Holster Fits Also CZ-97B, Taurus 709 Slim, SW MP Shield 9mm / .40

Overall a very sturdy, extremely light, well designed product. Fits M&P Shield (no laser mod) perfectly. Business end of weapon does not stick out of holster but stops just before, bottom of holster is open. The inner paddle (the part that goes over the pants and on your hip) has rubberized grip area to give user a non-moving, clean weapon draw if executed properly. Holster has no moving parts (unless unscrewed, can be adjusted for hold preference) besides a flexible adjustment screw to grab and hold the weapon. Even when turned upside down and shaken slightly (unloaded) the weapon did not fall out of holster. Yet when you draw the weapon properly with trigger finger along the outside of the holster and ready to cover on trigger guard from the hip, it is easily drawn. Additional notes: Ordered from Zahal (sent from Israel) and item arrived in less than 2 weeks (seller was great at communicating).

After making the recommended adjustments, I holstered my firearm. After 10 draws, my PPS M2 got caught three times and did not clear the holster. That is a serious concern. Secondarily, while drawing, my knuckle kept hitting an unavoidable edge of the holster. Practice might remedy the sticking, but I am not sure how to eliminate a painful draw. Don't buy this. In an emergency, no one needs a firearm that draws out of it's holster sometimes. 20 attempts 11 completed draws. I've returned the holster to the seller.

1st off the price. Amazing price for this holster. The company is in Israel and they were great with shipping. Actually they were amazing. It was supposed to arrive by Jan 29th it got to me on 12/24. Great quality and fits perfect for my Shield. Easy to remove pistol but keeps it very secure. Doesn't affect the slide either. Best of all it is extremely comfortable and stays secured to your belt. Definitely a great addition to any collection.

After trying 3 or 4 other CCW holsters, I picked a winner with this one. Comfortable, good adjustable retention and smooth draw. Did i mention it was comfortable?Most people will complain that outside waistband carry "prints" too much. I'd rather carry comfortably OWB than have my gun digging into my side with an IWB holster.I'm much more likely to CCW when things aren't complicated and/or uncomfortable.Yeah, its a matter of style and preference. ..Just throw on a loose t-shirt or un-tucked button-up/flannel and go. Slipping this paddle holster into my waistband is no more complicated than sticking my wallet in my back pocket before I head out.

I like this paddle holster a lot. Like others though, I wanted just a little more retention and a more positive click when the firearm is fully seated. 5 minutes of disassembly and file work make this holster perfect for what I want. Trigger is covered and I can get my shield out with safety off in no time. No worries about someone trying to remove the firearm from behind.

Just received this in the mail. I really like it for several reasons. One, it is comfortable on the hip. Two, its durable. Three, the tension adjustment screw allows me to put the right amount of tension I want. This was important to me since I had holsters in the past wasn't this good. I am using it for my .40 Shield. Fits nicely and I would recommend it. One other thing, I bought it from Zahal, (Israeli company). The projected delivery time was like 6-8 weeks since it was coming overseas. It took only 2 weeks for me to get it. Will do business again with them.

Got this for my Walther PPS. I've owned Fobus holsters before and they have taken a great design and made it even better. Initially when I holstered my weapon I couldn't get it out again. That was a bit alarming but after viewing a couple of YouTube vids, I found that you adjust the tension screw and then you have to QUICKLY pull up. Then it works like a charm. I gave 4 stars because I had to do some research to figure out how to use it...they should have included instructions.

This unit holds the gun securely so that it doesn't rattle around. It is well-priced. But it is not as comfortable to wear as the Safariland version because its paddle is narrower and has a ridge to accommodate the belt. The Safariland paddle is more flexible, smoother, and rounded to a better curve (at least for me) to fit the hip, and has no belt ridge to dig into the hip. I bought this holster to make a jogging vest for my wife, so the paddle won't be an issue. I won't use the paddle when I make the vest.
