Great book, Arrived quickly in good condition - Two stories in the 'visual novel' format, based on the original Battle Royale novel by Koushun Takami..

I read this and then watched the battle royale film again, some slight differences obviously but it adds so much more character development and just enhances the battle royale experience....now to read the original novel again!!!!!

such a pretty little book with two stories that were not in the original book! cute illustrations and really neatly presented. such a nice side story to the original novel

it's the wrong 'battle royal', i wanted the 'Battle Royale Remastered (Battle Royale (Novel))' even though i'm gunna read it.....it's not worth the star it's got.....unfortunately you can't write a review with no stars

Battle Royale is my favorite novel I've ever read, and I was very interested to see how a spinoff like this would expand on it. I did not expect that I would need to put it down and take breaks multiple times over the course of reading it just to try not to cry. I consider it an essential companion to the novel and a spinoff that doubles down on the best parts of the original, making it a must-read for any fans of the original story

I gave this book 3 stars as it wasn't as good as I hoped. Compared to the first Battle Royale. What I did like about it was the art and the authenticity of reading the book right to left (backwards). Still worth adding to your collection.

¡La verdad es que esta versión la recomendaría a cualquier fan leal de Battle Royale!Contiene puntos de vista de personajes que, si bien fueron desarrollados en la novela original, esto sirvió para poder sentir mucha más empatía por ellos y saber por qué actuaron así. En especial amé la parte de Chisato, es tan linda y se puede comprender mejor la relación que llevaba con Shinji... Aunque no miento al decir que mi corazón volvió a romperse al igual que en la novela.¡¡El arte es hermoso y la historia aún más!!

After reading the battle royale book and the mangas, i've heard about this "expansion".These two chapters tell us a little bit about the lighthouse group and their pasts and/or motivations. (depends on the chapter)The problem is that the comic is a little bit boring comparing to main manga high standards. Everything here is rated 3/5.Art, stories, even the final speech of the autor. Only for big fans.
