I am not a doctor, but I am sharing my own experience and hope that it helps someone who is about to have a surgery because when I was about to have surgery, this is the type of information I was looking for but couldn’t find.I had 12 surgeries within the last 3 years. Yes, 12 surgeries on my face and body, so I know what I am talking about! With each surgery I took the bromelain slightly different, but what worked the best for me and got rid of bruising and swelling the quickest was to take the bromelain 3 days before surgery and 1 week after on an EMPTY STOMACH. This is key for it to work on bruising and swelling. If you take it with food or right after eating, the bromelain will work on digesting your food instead of helping with bruising and swelling. In addition, I also ate lots of fresh pineapples right when I woke up on an EMPTY STOMACH for an entire week. Your tongue will feel funny but that is the bromelain working. Research it. Lastly, I took arnica 30c 4 pills 4 times a day for 5 days before surgery and 2 weeks after. I don’t know what helped the most or if this combination was the key, but this is how my surgery experiences went.First surgery only took arnica and drank pumpkin juice- I was massively swollen and bruised, and it lasted a long time.Next couple of surgeries I mixed arnica and bromelain but took it for a short time. It helped somewhat but still bruising and swelling lasted.Next couple of surgeries took the above regimen, initially bruised a lot but the bruising and swelling went away VERY QUICKLY as compared to my surgeries before. All the ladies in the doctor’s office were amazed about my recovery and even my doctor wanted to know what I did, so he could share it with his other patients.I first bought Amazing Nutrition Bromelain, and when I ran out, I bought another brand called Herbal Secrets. I didn’t notice these are pills. The capsules are more obviously bromelane with the smell and taste, so I’m taking it on faith that these are similarly effective.The emphasis on things unrelated to the purpose of the product - like that it’s non-GMO and gluten-free is a distraction. I’m buying it for what it is, not for what it is not. Nobody would expect pineapples to contain wheat flour.

I’m on my second bottle of Amazing Formulas Bromelain. It seems to work for me. I choose a brand by comparing potency, quantity, price and purchaser reviews. Reviews are valuable education.

Great pain reliever. This is a very good brand and it works. All at a very good price.

I am using this as part of a spike protein detox program. The value of cost and amount of pills is great, I received it sealed, in good condition. My only issues are that some pills are deteriorated in the bottle and also I am not crazy about the smell and it tastes the same so I have to hold my breath when I take it. I had some blood work after some months on it and there are changes that can be directly attributed to the supplement so there are benefits, will continue purchasing and do recommend.

Took supplement prior to a facial surgery recommended by my surgeon.

I saw a comment saying to take this product 3 times a day on an empty stomach for 3 days before oral surgery. I did just that and I had almost NO swelling nor bruising after getting all 4 of my wisdom teeth out. I continued the product along with my antibiotics for another 4 or 5 days and then would just take them when I remembered for the next few days.My doctors were AMAZED and everyone was asking me the name of the product so that they could recommend it!The picture above is day 2 and 3 after getting all of my wisdom teeth out!Great product and GREAT purchase! (I also recommend an ice pack that wraps around your face so that you can live your life while icing instead of sitting there) and if you smoke make sure you cover your gums with gauze to prevent dry socket <3 you will be okay!
