BERN Brighton Summer EPS Helmet with Visor

4 stars only because i should've gotten something more light reflective due to the riding at night, and also the heat holding properties of a matte black style. glossy white would've been better...it also doesnt allow a ton of air flow, and i take it off from time to time when i overheat. on that note, since i live in seattle, and it will soon be colder again, the option to upgrade the snap on accessories, such as the button in ear muffs, will be a total ear saver. i would purchase this again.. maybe just in a different color.

I can normally take being personally disappointed but when you buy stuff for your kids it is more annoying when a product falls short. I carefully measured my daughters head and she was a middling medium. I got the Cyan color. In the picture it has a pink strap and a black peak. The item that came had a blue strap and a white peak. Of course it was the pink with blue that made my daughter pick this out. She also wanted the peak to be removable. It is but it leaves behind Velcro on the inside of the helmet that sticks to her hair. Even worse with the peak it is too tight and without it it is too loose. There is no additional pads to attached as is usually the case with helmets. Even if it had fitted, the edge of the helmet without the peak is hard and this is touching your forehead.

This helmet is cute but it was bulkier than i expected. I guess it has to be to keep me safe but it just felt a bit round and bowling ball like. I got used to it though. The color is nice and I like the visor.

Great helmet, I wear it everyday on my commute between Brooklyn and Manhattan. It fits and looks great, I'm always getting compliments. My head borders between a small and a medium, so I got the medium bc I wear protective headgear in the winter. The helmet comes with extra padding in case it is a little too big, but it fit fine without it.I will definitely buy again, and will likely buy as a gift.

All good! I looked up how to measure for sizing for bern brand helmets as this is my first, and it arrived and looks and fits great! I wasn't quite sure if the helmet would be the main photos blue or more aqua hue that shows in the 'frequently purchased together' amazon thing, but it's definitely more blue. No complaints here! =)

Sizing was a little off, but other than that it is a Fantastic Helmet. bern makes a very nice helmet, much more stylish than most bicycle helmets on the market.

Great helmet for the price and fast shipping. Didn't know the shipper was local so I got it within a day of ordering which was nice especially when amazon estimated the delivery to be a week out. Great light weight to the helmet and it doesn't look geeky at all on my fiance's head.

I really like this helmet - it is much cooler than any other bike helmet I have seen and the peaked front is a really great asset in the sunshine. Speedy delivery - no issues. All good!
