I have a standing desk that I used this for and it worked great. It’s a bit difficult to get the cables started but once in it worked perfect. Additionally, you could remove the base as well as the magnetic link and move it within the chain making it easy to choose how it should attach to your desk. Overall great item.

The media could not be loaded. Looks amazing, magnets are strong enough to hold variable height, and large enough to hold 4 separate cables (HDMI, DP, AC, USBC).

Pretty good cord rail for standing desk applications. I got this originally to route all my cables from my computer tower on the ground up to the desktop to keep them from bunching/tangling and make sure there was plenty of slack. This did all of it. The magnetic side was the perfect strength and it routed a ton of cables very well. It made the standing desk look super clean. I will admit I didn't use it for too long as we had a change at home shortly after but while I used it it worked great.That being said it is a little pricey for what it is. I was able to accomplish a good bit of this cable routing and cleanliness with just some cut to size velcro wraps and zip ties. It probably doesn't look as cool (you actually can't see the wires much at all) but it works.

Didnt expect the magnet to be this powerful, kind of suprised me when I got it near the metal part of my table, it does what its suppose to and doesnt look to bad, cleans up the mess a bit.

This is a cool idea, but not great in practice. It's difficult to get your cables in there, and as with any cable management solution, if you need to take them out it's a pain. It's also difficult to get your cables to be long enough to make sure they work with this manager. You may need to buy longer cables.

The design and look of this is really great, but the magnet is simply not strong enough. I bought the magnet version over the screw in option because I didn’t want to have to permanently mount this to my desk.I tested it with only 4 - 5 cables, some being heavier gauge display port cables, and it couldn’t stay mounted. I used this with an adjustable desk, and tried holding the magnet in place while the desk raises. The vertebrae does extend and collapse very well, but the magnet is not strong enough for most use cases.I’d also like to mention that there is not enough room for cables. Most people buying this will have an adjustable height desk and more than an average amount of peripherals if they are worrying about cable management. I couldn’t fit more than two display port cables and the corresponding power cables from the same monitors. If you bend the plastic to fit more, it feels on the edge of breaking.Overall, I wouldn’t recommend the magnetic version for typical cable management. If you have an average amount of cables and are set on getting a vertebrae, I would recommend getting the screw mounted version of this instead.

The hardest part of installing this was shutting down everything and disconnecting so i could clean up the cables.There really is nothing to install. it's magnets and easy to use. It's long enough to go with any standing desk and you can route your cables with ease.Initially, I designed my standing desk with the PC mounted under and very few cables going to the floor. But I had to change things up and have a lot of messy cables now. This has helped clean up the look and makes me feel more organized.
