These faux poppys are really pretty. They are not perfect, some leaves are glued bent onto itself...the color of the stem is odd and green stuff falls off the stems but overall for the price they are great which is why I gave 5 stars.

I love real poppies so I had high hopes for these faux poppies. These aren’t quite what I was hoping for quality wise. I was taken aback by the amount of green fuzzy matter that comes off of these stems, even with gentle handling. Shedding aside, I had some quality issues. I received stems that had exposed wire, 2 were broken on the stem forcing me to significantly shorten them and there were lots of fuzz-bare and gluey spots. If you’re planning on trimming these, get the sharpest, strongest snips you have. I started with my ultra sharp kitchen shears and after one attempt quickly realized they weren’t going to be effective, at least without seriously dulling or breaking the blades. I reached for my outdoor pruning snips, which are extremely sharp, and even those had a heck of a time cutting through the corded wire. After snipping and attempting to arrange them in a vase, I grew a little frustrated at how finicky the greenery is. The leaves are crinkled up, often adhered to the stems or each other and efforts to separate them or fluff them leaves a forest of fuzz. From a distance, these are cute. My mom, who is a flower enthusiast was impressed by the details and remarked that even the leaves are fuzzy! Haha, to each their own 😉

I ordered these in the Red color to add a pop of color to my family room which is decorated in warm tones. They arrived quickly and were shipped tightly folded into a small box. The leaves have some kind of dust on them that kind of gets all over if you're not careful but this was expected based on the description. The colors are vibrant and more Orange than Red in my opinion. Every petal and leaf needed adjusting to make it look less fake and some of the leaves were glued in such a way that they wouldn't open properly. I ended up cutting some of them off as I felt that looked better than all clumped. I had to bend the stems at the bottom to fit in my vase but they can be adjusted back if I go for a taller one. I'm not sure anyone would believe them to be real poppies but they look striking with a dark background and the price is reasonable given that you get 6 stems of this length.

These are artificial flowers and they look like it. However, this set comes with 6 stems of multiple flowers and the price is much better than buying from a craft store. They came pretty smooshed in transit and took a bit to get the stems unbent and flowers pressed open. They are decent looking for fake flowers and will make a good summer mix. Watch out, the green stuff lining the stems sheds everywhere when you are handling them!

First impressions were not good. Flower petals were pretty crushed and the stems are covered in a shiny felt-like material that sheds when you touch it. Kind of like fiberglass. Once I got the stems all straightened out and put them in a vase, it wasn't so bad. It took a lot of tweaking to make them look natural but they're mich better now than they were right out of the box. I've got them in my room making a corner a bit brighter and from some distance they look pretty good. I wouldn't put them in a clear vase, it's best if you keep the stems as hidden as you can 😂 but they're good in my large amber vase.

These poppies don’t look too bad from a distance, but up close they really fall apart. I ordered these expecting to get them in red but they are more of an orange color. The leaves and stems have some weird fuzzy thing going on that doesn’t look good and makes a big mess. They fluffed out well but some of the leaves are all stuck together and not fixable. The best part about the flowers is the flower itself and that could stand some improvement. After working with the flowers a little, I did get them where they are slightly presentable. I don’t like being wasteful so I’m bunching these with some other flowers and hopefully the stems will be camouflaged and I will cut off the leaves.

These are pretty nice. They look nice and are more sturdy, bendable whole keeping their ability to stand. The only thing I'm not crazy about is the stems are a pale green with shiny, glittery material. If you just use them for decor and don't intend to have them look like real flowers that won't matter, but I'm going to spray paint the stems with a plain, darker green color in hopes of achieving a natural look. But that's just my preference.

As soon as I pulled one of the flowers out of the box, I got flocking material all over my hands. I can see multiple places where the flocking is peeling off the stems, right out of the box. And it’s really unnecessary - the flowers look so nice without the flocking! The petals are perfectly colored and nicely formed, and the centers look quite realistic. In contrast, the leaves and stems - mainly due to the flocking - look very fake, not realistic at all. The stems are indeed bendable, but not easily (takes some effort). Be mindful of bending them too much - I exposed the wire underneath when bending one piece back and forth a couple of times. And you will need wire cutters to cut the stems. Flowers are 5 star, rest is 1 star.
