Are you sitting comfortably?
Well you would be if you bought yourself one of these chairs.Fantastically 'airy' (due to the mesh back) but suitably adjustable to get your 'perfect' seating position. You can get the seat 'just right' thanks to the lumber adjustment, seat angle, seat height and arm height adjustments. You can even lean back and do a Stephen Hawking impression thanks to the built in adjustable headrest. If you spend a lot of time on your PC, either at home or in work, then this seat is well worth the investment.

Good start...
This chair was very comfortable for a while and looks great. However, after about 7 - 8 months of use things started to go downhill. The gas lift starting giving slowly over time (normal and fixable in my experience). Shortly after that, the headrest broke off. A month or so after that the chair began to tilt itself in whichever direction it felt like. It turns out there was a vertical tear up the middle cylinder (attached to the base), like it'd unzipped itself, which meant it tapered outwards towards the bottom and didn't hold the chair straight. It wouldn't sit still. This wobbling seat and jerking violently downwards in steps during work sessions was probably comical to watch as I swung round the studio but it was enough for me.Looks lovely, great lumbar support, which saved my back (I initially bought this chair because my back was hurting after a heavy 3 month work session). Was a perfect chair for a few months. That said, it's no good if it doesn't last. And this really doesn't last. Shame! I know I'm not alone.

OK but not great for the price
no moving lumbar support, made for small people, i wouldn't consider myself tall but at 6'2" I'm far from short. If I sit up properly in this chair my shoulders rest where the head rest would be (which i had to remove as it was really uncomfortable otherwise). If I were able to go back I'd probably go to staples or something and get a chair I could try and test before I bought it so i knew i was getting the right chair for me.

Disappointed with the quality - however the retailer provided AMAZING customer service
We purchased this chair after considering a number of options for our home office which is used for the occassional work day at home and lots of hours of study. After checking out the options at various stores where prices for something that looked similar seem to be upwards of £500 we decided to take a punt on this item as it LOOKS the same kind of quality you find in places like John Lewis etc. However whilst some of the individual components are quite comfy (the seat padding for example) overall the chair is not very comfortable or high quality - especially given in some places I had read that it normally retails for a much higher price which makes you think you are snapping up a bargain.Despite my 1* review for the product, I have to say that the service received from The Office Supplies Supermarket was excellent - 5*. They replied to emails very promptly (often immediately - which allowed a text conversation to progress with pace) and liaised with the manufacturer on our behalf (see summary of the service, below). Eventually they gave us a full refund and even got the manufacturer to waive the return carriage charge. This is just the kind of service that gives one confidence shopping on-line and I am so grateful. In the end we splashed out £600 for a Herman Miller chair at John Lewis which I have to say is fantastic quality and incredibly comfortable. If you can afford it I would recommend you spend a little more and get something that it actually ergnonomically sound rather than this substandard imitation.Brief history:- Firstly the chair we bought was not available so we were sent an upgrade with no extra charge rather than be subject to a delay whilst new stock came in. Great start and really impressed with Office Supplies Supermarket.- When the chair first arrived it did not include any instructions. Contact Office Supplies Supermarket and they sent by email same day - brilliant- Chair not particularly easy to assemble (but was doing solo). Eventually got there but the chair was not very sturdy.- Hydrolic cylinder broke after a few weeks (of hardly any use) which meant when chair at full height it came out of the cylinder and the top came off. Contacted Office Supplies Supermarket and they arranged for a replacement hydrolic to be sent which came really quickly- Unable to disassemble chair to fit new cylinder. Contacted Office Supplies Supermarket and they arranged for instructions to be sent by email.- When still not able to dissassemble Office Supplies arranged for a REPLACEMENT CHAIR to be sent at no cost. Manufacturer could not take the original chair as it was still assembled so we were told to keep it/despose of it - fair enough- New chair came and we didn't have any time to assemble for about two months due to various commitments. When we eventually did there were some bolts missing to the headrest. Contacted Office Supplies Supermarket who offered to send the replacement parts.- At this point I had had enough and did not want the chair as had lost all confidence in the actual product. I was ready for an argument given the amount of time that had passed (even though we still had the packaging and everything) but Office Supplies Supermarket were great and liaised with the manufacturer for us to be able to return the product. Initially we were going to have to pay a return carriage fee of about £20 (as a courier was being sent to the house to pick up) but when I asked if this could be waived given all the inconvenience - it was.- Within a week we had a full refund of the entire original amount paid - even though it was about 4 or so months after the original purchase. We still had the original chair so put it on freecycle along with the replacement hydralic. We did get an email of thanks some days later from the person who we gave it away to saying they had managed to replace the cylinder and were over the moon with the chair. So maybe my expectations were a little too high (but then they did get practically a brand new chair for free - just not a very good one).I cannot stress enough how great Office Supplies Supermarket were. Who knows, perhaps Eliza Tinsley the manufacturer were equally easy to deal with in the background (as Office Supplies Supermarket did have to go back to them on each occassion) - so maybe the compliment about service should also extend to them. However the product itself was just not very good and did make me cautious about my next online purchase of a large item.

This is a lovely chair, I just wish it went higher
The chair is very comfortable. I work from home and spend a lot of hours on it. I wish it went higher since I am quite tall.

Not up to the job
I bought this chair just over two years ago. Being of a fuller figure (i.e. just over 18 stone) I was quite particular to buy a chair that was appaently up to the job. When the chair first arrived I was slightly dissappointed in its apparent quality. Very plasticky and not apparently made to the finest tolerances. Anyway I chose to live with it. Today the chair suffered a spectacular collapse when the back sheared and deposited me on the floor. I hope the Powerpoint I was working on at the time makes as big an impact. Potential purchasers who carry a bit of heft should look really look elsewhere!
