Christmas gift
My daughter loves working in the Vegetable garden and for Christmas this year I had bought her a lot of gardening stuff along with this basket which she uses and in fact it’s great for holding all her tools and gloves but also items into the kitchen harvested.

Great size
Love this! Feels sturdy. Really like the look. Love the partitions. The small cubby is great for things like cherry tomatoes (fits roughly 100) and the larger spot is great for a few handfuls of things like tomatoes and peppers. This totally fits what I bought it for. Now obviously, if you are harvesting larger veggies or a larger quantity, it probably won't fit what you're looking for. But I like it!

Great for Herb Gardening
This is perfect for herb harvesting. I can sort the herbs and clean them in the same container.

Cute, questionable finishing
Overall, for me this is more cute than functional, and the finishing leaves some things to be desired — for a garden trug, I’ll likely stick with my flexible, washable, durable plastic baskets and trugs. This would be attractive and useful for inside organization with a modification or two.Pros:- It’s more attractive than common plastic options for garden trugs.- It would make a nice craft supply or similar organizer for indoor use, with a few fixes.Cons:- The finishing is poor — please see included photos of cracks and splintering in the handle, incomplete paint on the handle wire, dents in the mesh, and scratches. The handle on mine will need sanding and oiling or waxing to make it safe to use.- There are no feet on the base to raise it from ground level a little should you wish to set it down, which would also protect the enamel-appearing finish. I’d add some, whether I used this outside or inside (I’d worry this metal trug would scratch any nice surface inside).- It’s a little small for even a moderate home garden daily harvest.- While I love that it’s metal, in theory, with the poor finishing and likelihood of scratching the base with use, I worry that if I use it with wet produce or rinse things in it, it will eventually rust. And the handle certainly won’t fare well without some sanding and protection.
