Crane broke after the first use
My four-year-old was so excited to receive this set for Christmas! The train cars are so cute and they all work so well, with the incredibly disappointing exception of the crane. Upon opening, the crane got stuck in an upright position and my son snapped it off the car when trying to get it to a lower position. It is very difficult to adjust and it is no surprise that it got stuck and quickly broke. It does work well with our mixture of tracks (Brio, IKEA, and random Amazon brands).

Perfect addition to the original Obrium train set. The girls love the magnets & they are having fun putting some people in the cars

A HUGE hit
My boys love this tiny set. The magnets are surprisingly strong. The vibrant orange and construction theme is also pretty cool. It’s pretty lightweight and inexpensive. My 3 and 5 year old play with it together. They also match them with other trains and wooden track sets just fine!

A sad Christmas
A very disappointing Christmas. When opening the present Christmas Day the crane train was missing. Definitely not worth the money and not worth the heartbreak to return as I would have to return his gift in order to get the manufacturer error back.

Not so great
Cute idea, but the crane does not move up and down easily, and when you swing it to the side it topples over, so we returned it for something we think will be less frustrating for little ones.

Fits with all brands of wooden train tracks
Real person review: This was the perfect gift for my 6-year-old! He is a big fan of both trains and construction, and this toy really hits the sweet spot. It's been a joy to watch him incorporate it into his existing wooden track layouts. I'm particularly impressed that it works flawlessly with our mix of brands – Brio, Thomas, IKEA and Imaginarium. One downside is that the magnets that connect the trains aren’t as strong as some other name brands but that hasn’t hindered my little guy at all. We will continue to buy from this brand.

Base of boom snapped off
Ordered two of these, the plastic base of the boom snapped off of one in minutes with regular play. Poor durability.
