Review: I bought this 10x10 screen house to protect my senior black lab and cat from fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, and flies during a 10-day camping trip — and it worked beautifully. Setup & Takedown: Other reviewers mentioned difficulty putting it away, but the seller included detailed pictures and a video. I followed the directions and was able to put it up and take it down by myself with no problem. Quality & Construction: The frame feels sturdy, the mesh is fine enough to keep pests out while still letting air flow, and the zippers are smooth and strong — no snagging. Comfort & Use: At home, I set it up for a week beforehand so the pets could get used to it, and they loved it right away. At camp, I used a tarp and rug underneath, and by day three, I even added a twin mattress for my old lab. My cat was surprisingly polite and didn’t bother it. Even with the mattress, there was room for two chairs and a table, so we could relax inside too. Protection & Weather: Our “boys” didn’t get a single hitchhiker or bite. It rained almost every day, but the screen house held up great. While it’s not waterproof (it’s a screen house), it shed enough rain that I could leave items inside without worry. Bonus: We realized our site was under acorn trees — so this quickly became our favorite hangout, not just the pets’. Final Thoughts: This screen house gets a 10 from us. Easy setup, sturdy construction, roomy, bug-proof, and surprisingly versatile. I 💯 recommend it! Updated: March 2, 2026 We live in Mid Michigan, this screen tent has been up since we returned from our camping trip last summer. To help care for our above mentioned animals. I do have to monitor snow gathering on the top (I check it once a day on snow days, use a broom and push it off from the inside, super simple). Let me just say ZERO snow has entered the tent all winter. A foot and a half stacked up outside the walls, nothing inside. There would be zero damage to the tent had it not been hit with flying debris (a metal flower stand with a pokey head) 🤦🏼‍♀️ during our worst storm of the winter. I will purchase a screen repair as it’s just a straight 6” tear. I have also purchased the 12 x 12 with sunshades, for our Summer 2026 adventures in northern Michigan!! But sorry boys this one is mine! 🛑

This screen tent is an excellent sun shade and bug shield! We have used it several times camping at national parks. The vest up is easy but I will say the take down takes some practice. Very important to follow the directions which are very good. The last time we used it a bad storm came through with lots of rain and wind. It held up well. We did suffer a cracked ceiling pole which was minor and we could still use the screen tent the rest of the week. We reached out and requested a replacement pole which has been mailed to us and received. Recommend as the product is great and so is the customer service.

I purchased this tent last year, and it’s the perfect size. It comfortably fits a full-sized table along with outdoor furniture, while still leaving enough room to move around. And I love that I finally am able to enjoy being outdoors mosquito free! I also bought the tarp designed to go underneath the tent. However, since I set the tent up on my deck, I don’t use the tarp underneath—otherwise, rainwater would get tracked inside. Instead, I use an outdoor rug inside the tent, which works much better. The tarp has still been very useful. I use it to cover the furniture during the off-season (especially in the winter) or place it over the tent during rainy periods for extra protection. One thing I learned the hard way—and highly recommend—is to pack up the tent before the first snowstorm. It’s very easy to take down; I simply folded it upright without returning it to the original packaging and stored it outside behind my grill. Snow can cause the tent to collapse, and there’s a high chance the rods will break. Overall, I love this tent. It’s been a great purchase, and I’ve learned a lot about how to properly maintain and manage it since I purchased it last summer.

Pretty good item. I was able to put it up myself, but would have liked some tricksies on the poles since I am too short and had to get a step ladder. I needed two people to fold it back up because as soon as you fold it over, you need someone to step on the other side, which you cannot do on the larger model. For folding it back I had to watch the video several times and it took me 3 tries but finally got it. After that easy to get into the bag. One note. There were holes in one of the screen panels. Not sure if defect or it just happened. Will repair with a screen repair kit though. It looks like getting holes in the screen might be pretty easy to do so be careful! Once it is up - it is a great little hillbilly screen room for my back porch! Super easy setup! Just be careful with the screen parts. Smaller model would probably be SUPER easy. It gets harder with the larger models.

Very easy to erect and a nice big space once up. I put my own weights all the way around as I had it on the patio and it faired well in the moderate breeze, about 10 mph. As I hadn't pegged it down, I collapsed it when the wind was going to get quite strong. Didn't fold it right down so don't know how easy that is, but put it in the shed semi folded ready to put up again when the heat returns. The grandkids love it, and the mesh screen keeps out the insects whilst letting the breeze in, perfect! A very good buy.

Only good for cooler weathers on a calm day. Good luck with wind / rain / hot sun......
