Perfect just wish I went one size up

Looks OK and sturdy though doesn't cover to the side of the chest for women... could do with a little more width there in the upper torso area.I'm 5'5 / 1.65 mtr and ordered a Large as per the measurement chart. Maybe, as the straps are too long, a Medium might have been better? Not sure.I will have to reduce the length of the elasticated velcro straps as they are too long for me to keep the protector snug around me and stop it from moving upwards when I move, but not an issue, just a few stitches should do the trick.I bought it to wear as armour / extra protection under clothing / gambeson for Viking re-enactment and once I have resized the straps to get a snug fit, it should do what I have in mind.For Quality, on inspection it looks pretty good, well made and sturdy. Not bad for the price.

To me, the WEIGHT is critical, as my (HWK) jackets weigh 5 pounds and 3 pounds (ventilated for Summer). The vest seems able to take QUITE a smack ... and distribute the force over a broad area (of the torso). I particularly like that the rear protection extends down to one's tailbone - over the small of one's back.Thanks to the (VERY) adjustable straps, I can wear it either inside or outside an armored jacket or shirt.NICE lightweight protective vest.

Feels really comfortable and secure which is the #1 factor I think, you won't wear it if it's uncomfortable. I don't like the white triangles in the front but I can live with that. For the price you can't complain, great value!

I haven't used a lot of chest protectors, but this one has all the features I'm looking for as far as comfort and fit. The velcro fasteners cover a big area, so you can really adjust how this fits well. And the elastic has a good amount of stretch so you aren't suffocating yourself. This mainly covers the upper chest and mid-to-upper back, and offers really good freedom of movement.
