Lots of great places to visit, a must for any traveller

I purchased this for friend for his birthday. He and his wife have been retired a few years and delight in travelling to places off the beaten track or unusual. Last year they went to Madagascar to explore its unique animals and plants.The book was a nice thick one with plenty of excellent pictures on good quality paper and well made. A standard you would expect from National Geographic. I promptly received a grateful email expressing how pleased he was with the gift and that they’d spent ages looking through it and been given many new ideas of places to visit that they previously wouldn’t have thought of. I look forward to hearing of new adventures they have as a result of the book!

Really well received for a couple who like to travel. Has lots of inspiration for future holidays and is set out really well.Has loads of quirky and useful information and is ordered by what kind of holiday you want rather than where you want to go.

Great read and opens your eyes to parts of the world you would never have thought to explore! And seeing it from someone’s experience makes it so much easier to plan a route

Such an interesting and beautiful book

I was given a copy of this beautiful book. Obviously, the adventures can be had by anyone, not just couples, but I love that it was written from their own experiences. The photos are great and it's clear that they had fun making this book.
