Streamline+ Alu White Aluminium Flexible Curtain Track Ideal for Bay or Straight Windows 360cm

Needed a replacement curtain track to fit a large bay window, and as the new curtains were heavy wanted a track which would support them. The track was very easy to put up the mounts were simple to fix to the wall and the clips to attach the track were easy to use and very secure. Needing a long track to fit the window and the ability to bend the track to fit the profile of the bay window this was ideal as it came in two sections and once one was bent correctly this was used as a template for the other section. The finish on the track is good and being white blend into the background paint work.Having previously used plastic track which comes in a roll I found this aluminium track far better to use and ver substantial

I bought these over others that were about half the price because I was concerned that the other plastic ones may not be up to the job. The curtains that I had ordered turned out to be very heavy so I'm very glad I went with these metal ones.I was fitting these to a bay window and first had to also fit a new wooden batten all round so wasn't expecting this to be an easy job but it was actually pretty straightforward and these tracks did not add any complication, I just had to take my time. The tracks bent relatively easily and were simple enough to fit. The instructions said that the curtain would not travel over the central joining piece but ours did just fine so I guess I got them fitted more accurately than you were expected to (makes a change for me)!My only gripe, and I'm not docking a start because it is minor was that the end stops were difficult to screw on to the track, even with a "stubby" screwdriver because they were too close to the wall. I got round it by unclipping the last two brackets, screwing the end stop on and then clipping it all back up but it would be better if the screw was in the top (in can't be in the bottom because of the curtain hook).

This rail was easy to put up in our bay window. The fittings work well and at was easy to bend the rail to the right angles and fit it all together. Our curtains are fairly heavy and the rail seems perfectly strong enough for them. The runners glide well, even around corners.

Track itself is of good quality. I am a relatively novice DIYer and I managed to install the tracks on our bay windows without too much hassle. The only problem I found was with the 'glider' hooks supplied. Although unlike previous reviewers about not being enough hooks, I thought there were enough hooks for the curtains but the hooks just weren't compatible with the track. I only realised this after I started moving the hooks around the track, it kept getting stuck where I had installed the keylock supports for the track.At first I thought maybe I haven't done it properly, but when I used some old sets of hooks it glided properly as it should.Hence I'm giving it 3 stars, as mentioned good quality aluminium track but is let down by incompatible glider hooks.

I would very much recommend this product - we have had various tracks over the years, but I'd say this is easily the best.Strong, easy to fit and curtains glide like a dream.Only quibble is that we only got 10 wall clips, not 12 and a few short on the hooks. However, we managed without the 2 extra clips to the wall, and I had some extra hooks, so it didn't matter.I'd definitely buy again.

One of the cheapest and best suited for it's purpose. Very easy to set-up and fix - have been using it for nearly 6 months, of regular curtain motion daily. The curtain slides around as it did from day one. Also, the ability to bend (over my thigh) helped cover the step along the walls. Recommended for quality and ease of setup.

Replaced our plastic version of the same make which were eventually struggling to stay up due to the weight of our curtains. Used the same brackets so no messing about - but plenty supplied if you need them. Was worried about bending them to fit our bay but it was easy. They fit well and curtains slide easily along the track. Quick and easy to install.
