Love this oven. Perfect for the campfire. Have had great success with it cooking over/under the coals. Lid holds coals nicely as well.

Great value
All of our cast iron has been Lodge brand. We decided to give this one a try because the weight was a few pounds less than the Lodge brand. We used it daily for our last trip. Both in the camp fire and on the stove. I made chili, a whole chicken, stew, and the camp bread turned out fantastic! Perfect size and excellent heat distribution.The lid made for a great frying pan and worked well with coals on top as an oven. Very pleased with this purchase.

Great pot. I used it over a fire pit. The hook to remove the cover is perfect. The underside of the lid is like a griddle. Great for pancakes.
