Micro Ingredients Organic Goji Berries 2lbs I have been eating these for about two years now, gone through several bags, and never been disappointed. They have a great flavor, consistent texture, and never a sign of contamination or mold. I added these to my diet in place of raisins because the gojis have a terrific blend of antioxidants and phytonutrients (and raisins don't). I usually put a couple of tablespoons in my morning oatmeal or barley flake cereal; gives the cereal a nice sweetness and flavor. They are also a good addition to my overnight barley flake cereal; I just add some when I make my evening batch. These are a healthy dried-fruit fixture in my diet; recommended.

The berries arrived fresh, soft (not overly hard), and had a naturally sweet-tart flavor without any added sugar. They rehydrate nicely in hot water and make a really soothing antioxidant tea, especially with an electric kettle for quick prep. They taste good! I put them in my cereal and now l put less honey because they are sweet! The best thing they are organic! I will buy them again!

I have purchased this brand of Gogi Berries twice. The price is relatively reasonable and the berries good quality. However, my last bag purchased July17, 2025 from Amazon contained a ball bearing 5/16 inch in diameter. See photo. So be cautious when serving these.

The gojiberries are big, fresh and yami, really enjoy it.

Sometimes all the berries are stuck together in a solid clump, but that isn't the problem. Instead, the problem is I just read about reports of heavy metal contamination in some Microingredient products. I contacted the company asking for copies of their lab reports for lots that I purchased. I got an email response the same day, which was a positive, but the reply did not offer any lab reports, nor did it offer any test results from the lots I asked about. I replied back again asking for copies of the reports. It's been 7 days since that and NO RESPONSE at all from the company. Are they hiding something? I don't know, but the fact that they're so much cheaper in price compared to the competition who have reputations for quality, it is a reasonable concern. Their initial and only reply is copied below so you can decide for yourself. "Thank you for reaching out to Micro Ingredients! California Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. This means that products need to contain warnings even if they contain far less than the standard amount of contaminants. Unfortunately, almost all plants in the world that grow out of soil contain heavy metals like lead and mercury, because these elements are part of the soil, even at very low levels. Therefore, all our plant products will contain the Proposition 65 warning. However, please rest assured that our products are third-party lab tested for heavy metals to ensure our products are within the safety limits set by California Proposition 65. Thank you! "
