Brand New Glass Pendant Shade - Clear and Frosted.

These light shades are five stars from an appearance and quality point of view. I bought two to go in my bathrooms. However, getting them up is a bit tricky and had me screaming in frustration. They come supplied as the glass shade and two loose silver rings which sit around the hole at the top, one which goes inside the shade and the other on the outside. It is sooooo tricky to get all these lined up and get the light attachment screwed in while balancing on a step ladder. Everything kept slipping out of alignment. Got there in the end and well worth the meltdown as they look very classy. Also, it would have helped to be told which ring goes where (they are different) so it was a bit of trial and error to work this out. In the end I settled for the flat ring on the outside and the staggered ring on the inside but no idea if this is actually right.Update: The flat ring does go on the outside and the staggered ring on the inside. The suppliers must have read my review and emailed me a PDF of an instruction sheet. Would have been handy to have this included with the shades but credit for trying. Still loving the shades.

Read other reviews and decided to buy. Great shade, stylish and good price. A little tricky to fit but having said that I did it in 3 minutes - instruction in English are included. Speedy delivery too.Oh dear - just seen you can get the very same shade in Argos for £12.99 - maybe not such good value after all!

Great shade, looks really nice and, as it's glass, it's great for a dark hallway or landing. You can't see the ugly bulbs because of the frosted top. You do need about three hands to put them up but I would still recommend them!

Very disappointed in the shades, box cover said goods from Argos and when I checked the Argos website the shades only cost £12.99, thought when buying through Amazon prime we would be getting best value for money, now we feel as though we have been ripped off

Received today and was shocked to see it’s from Argos! Checked the site and it’s half the cost!! I rated 4 stars because it is a lovely shade.

4 stars because it’s a lovely shade. What I had not expected was to see that the paperwork inside the box showed it’s from Argos and it’s half the price.
