Have had this desk lamp for only a few days but think it deserves a 5-star rating. I am impressed with its heavy base and flexible arm, as well as the brightness settings. The arm flexibility allows me to use it next to my laptop for comfortably dimmed light, without creating a glare from either screen or silver keyboard. Its heavy base cannot be knocked over accidentally, but is small enough to be moved around when desired. Its clean lines (I chose black) also look great in my black & white furnished office.

I am so happy with this positionable desk lamp. It has 4 settings of focused light which is great for reading and close work. The design style is simple and doesn’t detract in my living room as it sits on my side table next to the regular table lamp. I find it very helpful!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:My 94 year old father loves the brightness of this light and the flexible arm to aid him in seeing his hearing aids and other small items on his dresser and inside the drawers of the dresser.

I like everything about this desk lamp! Lightweight, gooseneck that allows you to move the light closer to where you want it, and it emits several brightness settings of natural daylight that make it easy to see what you're looking at. This brand is great for people with low vision as well.

This is much more than just a table lamp. Yes, it's sleek, has a 4-way brightness switch, a long adjustable neck and doesn't heat up. But those benefits also makes it practical for other uses around the house. Like replacing a garbage disposal motor under our kitchen sink! See, I crawled under the sink on my back and was able to adjust the lamp however I wished. Since I was in tight quarters, I just used the "No. 2" brightness choice. The long neck made it easy to place the lamp where-ever I needed it without getting in my way. And because of the lamp type, it never heated up -- even in the small area under the sink. I've since used the lamp to help me install a new hard-drive under (and behind) my home office desk. Certainly, useful and helpful.

Love this little light! High quality, durable, strong light in several settings, small enough to store or use in areas where you don't have a ton of space. I use this for painting my nails and other crafting. Perfect! Easy to bend in whatever direction you need with lots of movements and bend options. The strong light at different level, smaller size and bendable neck is why I got this and do not regret it one bit.To improve, maybe the brightest setting could be a touch brighter. The head/bulb is not that large so of course, there's a limitation on how much space this will light up and from how far away. I do tend to pull it in close to get that direct light where I need it for smaller things like my nails. It's not that it's too small, just not large so if you are lighting up a big area, this might not be the model you want. While the next is flexible, being even more bendable and able to twist would be awesome.If these are issues for you, get an Ottlite, just a different model. The crispness and true color light of the Ottlite can't be beat. Well worth finding whichever one works for you.
