Are the side button very sensitive or easy to press? I'm afraid that I'll accidentally press the buttons when I move the mouse
Does this require any Red Dragon Software to program?
What are the dimensions of this item?
How noisy are the button clicks? I work on the road and my roommate goes to sleep earlier than I do and don't want all the clicking to annoy him.

Great mouse for the a person with a 1+2+1 palm like grip

Quality-wise, it's a great mouse. The DPI is excellent, movement is smooth, and the mouse cord is a big improvement compared to what I've always used. However, I ended up handing it over to my daughter. She has a palm grip, smaller hands, and long fingers—uses a 1+2+2 grip style.I'm very set in my ways after 30+ years of using a fingertip grip (1+3+1). This mouse just didn't suit my grip style. Compared to more traditional mouse shapes like the Microsoft Intellimouse, Logitech MX510/518, or the basic mice that come with corporate PCs, this one felt like it forced my grip into something different and the hump in the palm area wasn't for me. It made my hand feel sweaty—something I’ve never experienced with a mouse before. The onl y con is the RGB lighting controls, It requires proprietary software to customize, and OpenRGB doesn’t detect it. So I had to live with the default rainbow "demo" mode since I’m not interested in installing extra software just for RGB effects. Instead of the button for 5 profiles on the bottom I would have the button go through the basic light modes.

A comfortable gaming mouse witth lots of easy to reach buttons!

I feel like I should probably start this review by saying that I have TINY, stiff hands... Those being the two main reasons that I purchased the "Redragon M811 PRO Wireless MMO Gaming Mouse". Some reviews say how large the mouse is, it's not really. I think some folks are confusing the size of the mouse with it's weight. While the overall size of the mouse isn't much bigger than (if at all) a full-sized regular mouse, the weight can give a bit of an odd feeling that the mouse is larger than what it really is. As I've said I have tiny hands and I can easily reach all of the buttons. Now onto the buttons! The buttons labelled 1 to 8 have plenty of space between them, so unless you have massive fingers you shouldn't have too many miss-clicks. As for the two main side-buttons, they're okay. Nothing special, but they're not shit either. There's a tad bit more travel in them before the click than what I would really like, but it's by far not the worst. Oh! The clicks! All of the clicks on this mouse are fantastic for the price! Every button on mu mouse has well defined clicks, not one buttons sounds or feels mushy. That being said the buttons aren't whisper quiet either by a long shot, most keyboards are several times louder by comparison. Hmm... I guess I should mention something about the scroll wheel. Well it's a wheel! There's nothing too special about it. It feels decent, nothing feels like it's grating or grinding while I use it and it's rather quiet. You can still feel some soft bumps while turning it though and it's got your typical mouse wheel rubber texture. Now there's something that should be mentioned! Besides the scroll wheel the Redragon M811 PRO doesn't have ANY rubber on it! For me this is a HUGE plus! Rubber never lasts on a mouse from any brand. Some folks like having rubber to grab, so some folks might need to add some grip-tape if they don't find the mouse's matte finish enough to keep their digits from slipping. I guess while I'm talking about the Redragon M811 PRO's finish I'll mention a few more things about the mouse's appearance. I have the white version and no... It's not a pure white, it's a slight off-white. You don't want a pure white on any sort of peripheral! On the topic of colors, the RGB is stupidly bright! This Redragon mouse soundly beats my old Razer peripherals on how vibrant the RGB is. While the glowing lights are beautiful, the software to change it is passable at best. There's very few options to be had and it is very easy to grab the wrong software, so be careful of that! Oh! Be sure to turn down the brightness level of the RGB down from 4 to 2, you can barely tell a difference visually and it will really increase you battery life without having to entirely give up the pretty lights. Past the hint on the lights I'm not going to mention much about the battery life. Rechargeable batteries quality and lifespan can very quite a bit, even between devices of the same model type. I will say this though this mouse doesn't have lightning fast charging that's for sure, fortunately you can still use the mouse with it's included cable while it's charging and it being in use doesn't really effect the charge time much, if at all. Once I've had the Redragon M811 PRO awhile longer I'll consider updating this review. I guess there's a bit of an in depth review on the "Redragon M811 PRO Wireless MMO Gaming Mouse". I hope this helps someone, have a pleasant day to whoever bothered reading this far!

Must have Gaming Mouse Software - KISS at it's Best - Edit: Almost.

4:45PM 20JUN2024Found it and thought I would write it down and share it here:INstructions* for Redragon Aatrox M811 RGB-PRO Get software at:>> https://www.redragonzone.com/pages/downloadMake sure you have the software for your “exact model”, this is an issue since a few are similar enough in name.1) Open MAIN, The Top of 4 buttons on left panel, just under Redragon logo - you will see the side and top view of the mouse2) Select KEY SETTING button directly under picture of mouse (1 thru 15) I’ll use button 3 in this example Choose #3 and it turns RED.A small selection box will open right under the numbers, left click the arrow box and select Key combination, another box opens and just put the key stroke you want in this box (use the check boxes if you wish to alter the format) (I don’t).3) It will show the letter you chose hit OK. Then…4) Hit the APPLY button – bottom middle of the main screen box. I do this for every key I mod. Just my way of doing it and it works for me!I hope this helps… It is easy to get lost in this sea of tech we live in.*Verses OUTstructions (silly humans attempt at humor).I am old enough to have been the TV remote control. (1960s)20 JUN 2024 This A.M. My software seemed to have reverted to some other version (although it did not) and reprograming it has been unsuccessful. It dumped the side button programing and It seems rather un-intuitive. I will try to find the video that I used the 1st time (YouTube).I tried 4 times to contact Customer Support and no luck the page just kept telling me my CAPTTCHA thing was missing (yes reloaded page to update etc.) and the hoops they make you jump thru are exccesive (Like order number, Really??)... It is though they do not really want to help you, after all.I will find the answer - somehow, but it should not be this difficult, IF YOU CARED ABOUT YOUR CUSTOMERS HAPPIENESS! Nuff said. Just leave it to us kind hearted smart people to solve your problems, I did my part (see above). The Secret of Redragon is the software - Use it, program your mouse, apply settings and you never have to open it until you want to change something. You can do it all in a compact no frills interface.Select a button, tell it which key you want to emulate and "apply it", it gets stored on the mouse and stays there till you change it with or 'without macros'. Same with the customisable LED Lighting and polling rates, etc.(I do wish they could match the Advanced Scale Settings in windows, so it matches the larger size I need to read it.) But I can do it.If you've owned any other brand of MMO style mouse, you have had the annoyance of their "PROprietary annoyingly intrusive software that just eats at the soul. I just want to play my game and not join a fraternity or sorority of other "Mouse Owners of the World". Yes (MOotW).Fits me like a glove and my big hands, can reach all the buttons.I think they miss out big - by not screaming from the rooftops just how much better their programing software is... as the best thing to happen to mice owners, since the mouse was invented.I use mine about 8-10 hours a day and has helped me play a better game. And their Customer Service is spot on and when I had an issue - they took care of me quickly. There are YouTube videos on the programing software if you need it (I did) but it took 10 minutes and turned out to be so simple (and I was born in the 1950's) AND no soul sucking computer big brother included! We Win!!!
