Crunchy, flavoursome and nutritious crickets
The media could not be loaded. I've never eaten bugs before, so this is a first experience for me. The crickets are fried and small and don't look as worrying as I had thought. They taste really good! Very crunchy and has a nice roasted nutty teriyaki flavour. Very easy to eat and rich in protein and other nutrients. I thoroughly enjoyed these. Its taken away my worry about eaten these fried bugs. Very good value.

High protein. Texture of corn crisps. Strong teriyaki flavour. Good for trying insect food
I'm always keen to try new foods. I've previously tried a few multilegged creatures when visitting the wife's family in Thailand so i was keen to try a packaged snack like this, especially as they are high in protein. Per 100g 40g is protein. This is a 20g packet, which sounds like nothing but these do fill you up surprisingly fast. They're baked or fried so they have a crisp and crumble texture like a corn crisp snack.Flavour wise the teriyaki is strong. Soy, sweet and a little spice. They don't taste of anything unpleasant, just the teriyaki. In a blind taste test i would swear i was eating crisps. You will need a sip of juice, water or tea after a while as the flavour and texture can build up.Smell wise to all you can smell is teriyaki, which is very pleasant. The only negative i can find is that i would like the packaging to be resealable. The crickets are quite small(bit bigger than a peanut) so they're more for grazing or nibbles and you're not likely to eat the entire pack in one sitting. Also at time of review they are listed for £4.99 per pack which is not cheap or great value. I think most people would be more tempted if it were closer to a large bag/tub of peanutsIf you work at a desk these are a good choice for a healthy and filling snack. You can easilynibble on them throughout the day or night shift. These are also a good option if you are tempted to try food made from insects but are a bit squeamish. This is a food of the future and it's tasty.Really good quality. Not great value. Still highly recommended. Thank you for reading my review. I hope you found it useful.

Tasty bugs
We have had crickets before from another company and also eaten them while in Asia. They are surprisingly tasty and like little crunchy snacks. The crunchiness is pleasant and not bitty with bits getting stuck in your teeth. This teriyaki flavour is really tasty, you can't really taste cricket at all.It has a bit of a spicy taste but also sweet - like teriyaki !!The only thing that might put me off buying regularly is the price - £4.99 for just 20 g is more than I usually pay for a snack.

Not a good taste
Crickets alright for snacking but I think insects haven't caught on as they do not taste nice. Even with teriyaki flavouring they are bland. I added more soy sauce but still didn't like them. All I can say is that they are somehow addictive. Far too expensive though
