Frederick Forsyth Presents: A Casualty of War [DVD]

Dated both in quality and drama. The readers of the books would be saddened by the TV movie style of this. I found it boring, difficult to watch and bland quality colour. In saying that It was dirt cheap so represents a certain value if bought used.

I chose it because I watched an extract onYoutube looking for movies with Amanda Burton.If you like stories about spies buy it.

A Casualty Of War is a very enjoyable action packed Spy drama. As part of the Frederick Forsyth Presents series the film features the character of Sam McCready(Alan Howard). It is McCready who recruits ex - S.A.S man Tom Rouse, to attempt to uncover a terrorist arms plot. The film takes place over a number of days in various locations, from London to Germany and Libya and Cyprus. The film has an exciting(although definately dated) soundtrack and the pace of the film is fast and often intense. The DVD is 4:3 Ratio(A TV film from the 80's would have been made like this) and the sound is very good and the picture quality acceptable. The film is introduced by Forsyth himself.
