Angel Answers Pocket Oracle Cards: A 44-Card Deck and Guidebook

I was recently discussing decks on predicting timing with a friend and how there doesn't seem to be one that exists. I went so far as to make my own, but then the "Angel Answers" deck arrives. Peeling through it I discovered it's much more than a `yes' or `no' deck. It's also a timing deck! I'm indifferent to the use of predicting timing for myself or others since time is fluid, ever shifting and changeable. We know this, but it doesn't stop us from wanting to know when something will happen. That's where this deck offers some additional help. I've been doing trial tests on others and answering their questions by using this deck. I've found it to be precise and on the mark. I'd say about 10 of the 44 cards in this deck are direct when it comes to timing. The cards that are more exact when it comes to timing have phrases on them such as: In the Near Future, A Year From Now, Not the Right Time, Within the Next Few Months, Perfect Timing, Within the Next Few Weeks, Unlikely, If you Believe, Perfect Timing. This deck is great to use when you need a quick answer on something or would like to get as close to accurate timing as you can. You want to get straight to the point. Keep in mind that you will not always pick a card which points to exactly when something will begin to surface. There might be additional messages that need to be followed in order for something to come to fruition. The cards are easy to shuffle and easy on the eyes. They're bright with a ton of gold and violet popping at you. The images are of angels, saints and other brilliant lights. It struck me much like when you go to those fun, novelty "fortune telling" machines with a gypsy fortune teller's head in the box. A card pops out with a little fortune on it. Except these images are of colorful spirit lights peering at you in most of them. There is a card that says, "Yes" and one that says, "Yes!" As well as a card that says, "No" and one that says, "No!" If you receive a plain old "Yes" or "No" card, then it's a soft yes or no. You could technically ask for additional information in another card as to why something is a yes or no. However, you get a card with an exclamation point that says, "Yes!" or "No!" - then you have a firm response. There is no need to dig further. There are also words on the cards such as, "No need to worry", meaning don't obsess over when something is going to happen. All will work out the way it is intended. It will happen, but be patient and have faith that it will. I recently experienced a bad ankle sprain due to a rock climbing accident. I consulted these cards to ask how it's going. I pulled the "Improving Health" card. I was born with heightened clairaudience, so hearing which card to flip over translates to me constantly flipping over the correct card. Some of the other cards that exist in this deck are: Romance, Let Go, Reconsider, Compromise, Choose a New Direction, Meditation Brings Answers, Don't Stop, Get More Information, Recovery. I was guided to pull three cards from this deck for someone wanting to know when her boyfriend was going to move out of his residence. The cards pulled from this deck were, "Take Action", "You're Ready" and "Ask for help from others". Reading those three cards you can likely assess how this will go. They did not give me timing or say that it wasn't going to happen. It would happen if the guy does something about it (Take Action). He does need to move and can no longer be in the living situation he's in (You're ready). But he will not be able to do it on his own (Ask for help from others). As it turns out, the guy is working with someone who is looking for a new residence for him. He is unable to move out on his own. If he doesn't follow these steps, then it won't happen according to the messages in the spread. I've been using this deck obsessively since I received it. I've found it to be a ton of fun. You don't need to be an experienced reader to use this deck. This will work beautifully for some as it does for me, and not so much for others.

I love this deck. The artwork is very pretty, and the individual cards are more unique than other oracle cards because they specifically indicate timeframes on the cards themselves such as "Within a few weeks", "A year from now" and "Within the next few months." This is very helpful when you want to plan for important events or get a sense of when is a good time to take action on something. Other cards in this deck that help with determining the appropriate time to act or not act include: "Take Action", "Not the right time", "Wait", "Choose a new direction", "Reconsider" and "You're Ready". Another plus of this deck is that it includes "Yes!" and "No!" cards that provide clear answers to questions in which you would like a "yes" or "no" response. The "Yes!" card affirms the decision or choice you are making is the right one and to proceed with your ideas or plans. The "No!" is a reminder that the decision you are considering is not recommended, which the angels assure you that you will understand why in time. Listening to this advice could prevent you from making a mistake or help you to avoid danger. In some situations, neither "yes" or "no" is the answer because sometimes we can experience the best possible outcome by trusting the angels guidance and allowing them to surprise us with the solution. The "Trust" card reflects this type of angel answer. There is also a card called "It's Up to You!" which reminds us that the outcome of your situation depends upon what you choose to do and does not require input from the angels or other people. Because this is an angel card deck, of course the angels recommend staying positive and being proactive about solving problems in order to ensure a happy result. This deck by Doreen Virtue and Radleigh Valentine may seem a bit simplistic in comparison to their more detailed Angel Tarot decks, but I often prefer to use the Angel Answers deck for quick readings. Sometimes I just want a simple yes or no response and not have to take extra time to interpret a more detailed tarot spread. This card deck is excellent for quick readings and also for providing clarification if you are unsure about the messages in your other tarot or oracle card readings. A tip for reading these cards: separate the "Yes" and "No" cards from the specific timeframe cards and the remaining "additional detail" cards into 3 different piles to receive more accurate responses. This angel deck does include some familiar phrases from Doreen's other decks but overall I found it to be more different than similar because of the cards that indicate a specific timeframe. I was looking for something like that for many years, and so was very glad that Radleigh and Doreen created this deck. Several people have commented that they don't like the artwork. I agree it is unusual, but I think the intention of the artist was to create an ethereal, otherworldly illustration of the angels surrounded by light rays and other characters in this card deck. After all, angels are light beings and may not actually look solid like we do!

Besides gorgeously glowing artwork that speaks to the soul, these cards epitomize simplicity. Meant for clear, concise, simple answers to questions with one card or several, you can also use them in a conversational manner with a larger spread or in tandem other decks. The artwork also greatly clarifies issues or questions in brief and gentle messages. If one card pulled does not seem to make sense, that's okay, then look to the cards before and after since they are also appropriate. These are just simply lovely. I held off on purchasing them the first time around, and regretted it, so I bought them, and am so glad I did. Approached with a reverence and sincerity, they are either a great support, or give pause for thought to a different angle not yet considered in a very brief paragraph in the book. Love that, since time is sometimes brief. These are supportive, loving, and heartfelt guidance.

I loved the original deck of the Angel Answers, and I knew I just had to have the pocket size, much closer to the size of a deck of cards, much easier to handle, and especially when shuffling the cards much easier to handle. Same beautiful artwork, and just love having the yes/no cards as well as timing cards. Trust me you have to have this deck.

I just received my deck today! I absolutely love the artwork which is exquisitely beautiful and full of deep symbolism with gorgeous ornate borders on every painting! I have a large collection of Oracle Card Decks with many favorites, and this one - in my opinion - is by far the most beautiful of Doreen Virtue's angel card decks! The artist - Marius Michael-George - created masterpiece after masterpiece for these cards and I cannot find even one that leaves me indifferent or I don't like. With most other oracle decks I may love a few images out of the 44 and be neutral to the rest and even end up tolerating some poor artwork just for the sake of using the oracle cards, but this one is 100% exceptional. The brilliant colors and details are amazing. Just holding these precious cards in my hand feels like treasures from heaven! The text is a bit different than other oracle decks with very concise messages, but it works well. The cards have metallic gold edges and are made of very thick material with a nice glossy finish. Highly recommended!

This deck is the most accurate deck I own. I read the 2 most popular reviews & all I can say is “WHAT”? As for the cards NOT being of God- they didn’t read the booklet. (And wigi should be spelled Ouija- get it right before giving advise). It tells you right in the booklet to pray to GOD. There is NOTHING WRONG with asking questions in earnest, for yourself, as part of a prayer. This is exactly how I use it & it has NEVER given me a wrong answer- NEVER, NOT ONCE. Like everything else, if you abuse the deck, then of course it won’t be of God. Next- The second one about the colors of the cards- I’ve been over the book & any info I can find & NOTHING says anything about color coding. IF this is true- why did you leave out the color GREEN? I’m not saying the color coding isn’t true- just that I can’t find it anywhere & it is incomplete. I dont use a Ouija board as I do believe that opens a door that MOST can’t really handle. I DO use Tarot cards- mostly for myself, always in prayer, & always in EARNEST. Meaning, I open my heart in prayer. There are somethings I will not ask in a card session for someone else- I don’t ask things they don’t really want an answer to. Other readers do and that is perfect! Just not me. I respect the cards & the power they hold. I don’t use them simply for profit nor to gain a one up on someone. I know Doreen has walked away from making cards, but she was making cards with any theme, just for profit. They no longer held meaning as a tool & became a toy based on any subject you want. I say all that to say-I’ve used my deck for 3 years now & when used with your heart full of intention, they will NOT give you a wrong answer. It is VITAL you read the Angel Answers booklet EVERY TIME. You may think the card itself is cut & dry, but you will find a sentence or 2 in the book that will make you say WOW. Once you think you no longer need a deck book is the day cards stop working for you. They will NOT respond to arrogant energy. No matter how many years “experience” you have. As with everything else-READ EVERYTHING in the book. Educate yourself first & keep learning- you can never know enough. Never skip steps or cut corners. And practice every day- there is always someone better than you. This deck is great for beginners or veteran readers. Become proficient on yourself before using on other people.

I have taken time to look at other people's reviews on this card deck and working more with this card deck before finally writing my review on it.I own most of Doreen's card decks and have noticed while working with the card deck I see as well as sense the energy of other of her card decks as well and that makes this card deck the perfect card deck for beginners,as well as Healing With The Angels.I see not only similar wording,but similar looking pictures as well.Many people don't like repetitious things,but I think this could be very helpful because if you get for example from this card deck get the card Helpful people and also from Daily Guidance From Your Angels or another deck of Doreen's if you get two of the same card the same day you know what you need to focus on the most,so when you feel like buying a card deck keep that in mind when shopping for one.The other card decks I see in this card deck are Doreen's Archangels,Michael,Raphael,Ascended Masters,Mother Mary,Goddesses,and Mermaids/Dolphins card decks.I also really like that these days Doreen and Radleigh is incorparating more ethnic groups in their card decks as well.At times Jesus is also seen in some of the cards here and there and he is potrayed very beautifully.This card deck has some cards with stories,but most of the cards don't have much story to them like Doreen and Radleigh's other card decks,but I still like them.I have had difficulties with accurancy,but as I work with them more they have become more and more accurate.If I have anymore difficulties I can always use what Radliegh sugguested on his Hayhouse radio show.I love how the cards were created with what I consider an angelic energy very shiny and bright to and the angels on the card borders love it,back of the card deck love it very colorful,The colors in background of the cards aren't all the same and have an abstract like feeling to them and definetly a combination of a variety of different colors in each card especially on the front of the card.Also the cards are strong and come in a nice box that keeps them in great condition for many years,and has a great booklet that comes with them as well.This card deck would have been helpful to have first,so I could get an idea on what would be best for me card deck wise,but oh well.I find this card deck most helpful with other card decks as well.So if you want simple answers,are a certified angel card reader,do card readings or just want to learn more about the cards in general get this card deck. Update January 12 As I contiue to work with the card deck day after day on myself as well as others I find that the card deck is more and more accurate most of the time anyway.I think when asking a question with this card deck,don't ask the same question more then once otherwise you will get contradicting answers.What I am finding fun these days is picking a card for the day at the beginning of the day and then going through the day and looking at it later to see how it applies to the day.A nice simple messages for the day.This is going to be a great card deck on app.Sometimes the card deck is inaccurate,but so what as long as it's accurate most of the time then it's stil a great card deck.Also I picked cards for my sister Sonya reguarding some questions she had in reguards to a situation going on in her life.She let me know what I sensed as,well as what the cards had said were right on.Did a card reading for other people as,well most of the time right on. Update March 30 I am still picking one card a day from this card deck and decided today to pick one card from Angel Answers card deck,three cards from the Romance Angel card deck and three cards from Doreen's Guardian Angel Tarot card deck.What a great relationship reading that was definetly what I needed for the day.I highly recommed combinating all three of these card decks together it's a great combination of cards.I contiue to pick cards for my sister Sonya in reguards to a situation she is involved with and 90 percent of the time it's right on. Update December 26 I still pick from this card deck everyday and most of the time they are right on.Since the last update I have bought this card deck for my friend Ann Marie,my friend Jason and gave it to my sister Sonya as well.My sister Sonya is not totally into cards so I was a bit hesitate about giving them to her for Christmas .I figured she would like that it was a card deck with yes/no,timing and in general simple meanings on the cards,but still uncertain.After she unwrapped the card deck the first words out of her mouth were wow these are pretty cards.She took off the plastic on the box the cards came in and right away looked at all the cards and picked a couple not sure what cards she got though.As for my friend Ann well I think she is still trieing to figure out how to incorparate them in people's readings and not sure if my friend Jason uses them alot,but my sister Sonya who isn't into card reading much loved them.

I just received the Angel Answers deck a few days ago, and I have been putting it to good use. This deck has given me the clearest answers than the others I've tried. You basically ask questions that would have a yes or no answer, but it tells you more than merely yes or no. It tells you about timing if that is important, such as "In a few weeks," or "In a few months," or "This time next year," so maybe you can use this to prepare or plan with expectation. It can also help if you are unsure you already have the right answer with a card that answers with an exclamation point telling you, "Yes!" It may tell you to "Reconsider", or "Ask others for help" or "Get more information" if that will give you a clearer answer than the deck can provide on that question right now. Or it may tell you "No" or "No!" which to me was so helpful, because it can stop you from taking a wrong path, or getting your hopes up, or wasting your time or money. It was amazing when I asked the same question more than once but continued to get the same answer card, even after I shuffled the stew out of them. :) There are 44 cards, so many more answers than I have let you in on here. And there is an easy to use guide that explains more about what each answer card means. I know you don't have to be into the Bible to use and benefit from the Angel oracle cards. But as for me, I believe God is in charge, also that God knows and understands all. So I am incorporating this with my prayers and always bless the cards and say a prayer from the Bible first. For me it's Psalm 91 that tells me, He has given His angels charge over me to guard and protect me in all my ways ...They will bear me up in their hands, lest I strike my foot against a stone. Or other scriptures about angels doing God's work may put you in a good frame of mind if you need it. I also know the power exists that could change an answer we receive today; so if we get an unwanted answer, we might be able to use other spiritual practices (like prayer) to transform the situation. This would be a good question to ask in that case. I asked it, and the answer was "Yes."

Prefiro as tradicionais. Mas na compra foi avisado que era pocket. São Excelentes para levar no dia a dia pois não pesam.

This card doesn't give you an answer you’re looking for. Even this shop didn't keep their words. If you are just following money, yes this can be a reason of my bad rating. Very disappointed.

Comme toujours chez Hayhouse, ( la maison d'edition ) la qualité de la boite, la taille et la dureté des cartes sont au rendez vous. ( ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas chez d'autres éditeurs ) un oracle très coloré et très pratique: pour des questions précises, il est parfait: il y a même des cartes "oui" et "non" pour ne pas tourner autour du pot ou mal interpréter une réponse. L'artiste qui a crée les cartes est un peintre très onirique avec une ambiance très aérienne ce qui convient très bien au thème des anges.
