By popular demand: This is the trade belt/brushroll removal tool for DC04/DC07/DC14/DC33 machines with brush control (machines with a clutch in other words). This is *the* tool all proper engineers have if they can get one. Now they can. We were the first supplier of these tools in the UK in 2011.

It's Great!
I've managed many times without this tool but what a difference with it! It is a must have as it makes repairs a doddle & it's a very reasonable price!

Not as easy to use as you might hope, but did really help
Due to the design of the brush housing on my DC14, this tool did not lie completely flat inside the machine and wobbled around when I was trying to lift the belt onto it; took two of us to lift the brush belt onto the tool as a result - one to hold it still and one to lift the belt. Certainly not as easy to use as the video I had watched made it look. BUT having removed a brush bar before without this tool I'd have to say it really did make the job easier overall. All in all glad I bought it.
