ONLY 2 STARS, But it would have been more Star's if it had Cards to go inside

These transparent card holders come with good quality card inserts but the adhesive back does not bond well onto any surface that I've tried. The backing sheet removes easily, which is a good point. Getting the sticky back to stick securely onto anything was a challenge. In each case, the pocket was only loosely adhered and fell off quite easily. The surfaces tried were: varnished wood, unvarnished wood, plain metal, painted metal, powder-coated metal, rigid plastic, soft plastic, thick cardboard, thin cardboard. Maybe this is old stock and the adhesive has weakened. They would be ideal for temporary labelling applications but I would not think them appropriate for labelling cardboard boxes before moving home or office, as I'd fear they would not survive the journey. Slightly different to the listing description, the 50 pockets came with 51 (not 20) card (not paper) inserts, and were supplied in a good cardboard box, so they store neatly - much better than just being supplied in an envelope or bag. Environment for testing was 22-24 degrees Celsius, RH 39-41% (in other words: comfortably warm and dry indoors)

These arrive in a plain brown cardboard box measuring approx 30.5cm x 12.5cm x just over 3cm.Inside, you get 50 card holders, with 2 per backing sheet which measure 13.3cm across & 9cm high.You also get 50 decent quality plain white cards which are 12.7cm x 7.6cm, with one glossy side & one matte side.They only just fit in the slots so you have to make sure you put them in straight or they won't go.While these seemed to stick okay to every surface I tried them on (wood, cardboard, metal, glass & the wall) except the wall, they were equally easy to remove sort of like sticky notes, so I wouldn't trust them for long term labelling.If they stuck down properly I'd have given them 5 stars.As they don't stick reliably, they have very limited use to me & I can't give them more than a 3.
