I got this as a fun toy when the younger cousin's kids are around to play. I had higher hopes for this toy, but it definitely was more of a dud. I first pulled back the kite and took it off and did a test fire to see how strong this would be and it sounds pretty good like a good snap. Then the real test, took it outside and first time flew about 15 feet. If you can get it going with the wind coming from behind you I could see this going a bit farther. I expected with how strong the device snapped it would've been a lot farther. Little kids would have fun pulling the trigger, but depending on their age, they're going to have a heck of a time trying to pull back the kite with this. Adults will have to help, and I could see kids getting frustrated. They may also get frustrated after awhile of it not going that far. The price point isn't bad, but I can't really recommend this.

These are fun launching kites. They come in three cute designs. You put the kite in the launching track and pull back on the fabric tab until the kite snaps into place. Once in place you pull the release button and the kite flies into the air. This can be done over and over again as the kites are made of very sturdy material. I like that it comes with three kites because you can launch one after another and then retrieve them and start over again. I ordered these for my nine year old granddaughter and I think she is going to really enjoy them. For the price, these kites are sturdy and will be very entertaining.

These were entertaining for the boys. They do not (at any attempt) go up to 30 feet--not even close. They went 10-12 feet in the back yard. We took them to the beach and ensured the wind was at our backs and were able to get up to about 16 feet--come on, not even close to 30 in optimal conditions. The boys play with them for about 15 minutes and get bored. They were creative and tried to set up some targets while playing to add a new level to their fun.

This is a fun toy for kids. The only issue I would point out is that it's a little hard and requires a little bit of strength to properly attach the kite and pull it back before using. My 6 year old had trouble with it and eventually got frustrated.Once it's attached properly though, it works really well and the kids really enjoyed launching the kites.

This was pretty cool but shoot/ flown better with the wind. Hahaha my boy enjoys it when his sister isn't around. I would recommend it for 5years +

The media could not be loaded.  Little cheesy, not very far glider. Only had two out of ten that shot more then 2 feet from us, and those 2 only went about 6-10 feet . My grandson said it was a little hard getting lite on there , he’s 11. So couldn’t imagine a small child doing it.

This kit features a spring-loaded pistol and 3 colorful "kites," which are actually just flat gliders. The kite slides onto the pistol, and when the trigger is pulled a powerful spring launches the kite into the air. The kite travels about 30-40 feet. My grandkids enjoyed this toy for a while, but quickly tired of the relatively short distance that the kites traveled. Also, the youngest kids (ages 4 and 6) were unable to load the kite onto the spring-loaded pistol due to the stiffness of the spring, so adult assistance was needed. This is one of those toys which will keep kids occupied and entertained for a day or two, after which they will move on to something else. It is a fun but not long-term toy.

The description boasts the kites can be launched over 30+ feet. However, the most the launcher could do was 10 ft.

This set includes one kite launcher and three kites. It does not require any batteries and works on pull-back and release with the trigger operation. When launched with the launcher, the flying range is reasonably good. The kites can be thrown with hands as well.This is a nice toy for kids. It can be played outdoors and indoors, and it is easy to operate.

These launch a surprisingly long way, especially on a windy day. The contraption is pretty durable, but will not last forever.

When you get the launch just right it can really fly far. The kids had fun taking turns and played with it longer than I expected. The older kids had to help the little ones load it up though, takes a little muscle. All in all for the price, it's a great toy.

I ordered these solely based off the description for an upcoming family beach trip. I want to use these in a large open area where we can easily retrieve them when they are shot off into the air. Based off the description and features, they seem like they will be so much fun for my kids and I and easy to use. I will update my review after our trip and use.

I bought this toy for my grandson‘s birthday. It was the head of the party. It seems that eight year olds can’t get enough of toys they can shoot and ones that can fly. I will definitely buy another one for my six year olds grandsons birthday. Great fun good price and quick delivery.

Tiny little kites and launcher that is fun and easy to use for a 9year old I had help test this. However it's super small compared to the photos (must be photoshopped lol) but it's still fun. The kites are flexible and there's a way to kind of slide them into the launcher and then they do fly fast. It's kind of scary to do inside but we were all laughing. Would be best at the beach on a breezy day!

My grandson had a blast with this. It was even more fun on a windy day. The wind snatches that little kite up and it soars!! The launcher works well. I can see that the kites will get worn out quickly, but for this price, just buy another set. Very colorful. Easy to see in the sky.
