I got this net for fishing the irrigation canals where I live, where often the bank is 3+ feet above the water. I have a similar non-telescoping net that I really like, but the reach down can be daunting. The telescoping handle gives me that extra reach and will hopefully keep me from falling in a canal trying to land a big fish.

It folds up very easily. Pull down on one part and you can fold it. It also extends with just a turn and pull. The netting is rubber coated to protect the fish and seems well made overall. I'm happy with it!
