Aside from it fitting perfectly on the ps5. It does nothing else. The fan is really loud in and noisy. The speed isn’t close to enough to help cool down anything. Your ps5 will get hot and stay hot no matter how long this is turned on. I do not recommend. Hopefully be able to return the item and try another one out. UPDATE. Was contacted by the seller for the issue and was resolved immediately. The customer service is great and the product was replaced with a new one and it works perfectly! Super quiet, great RGB colors. The 3 modes are great depending on your gameplay and time playing. %150 would recommend this item to anyone needing a cool way to style up and cool down your console.

Easy to install, cool lights that compliment the stock white console, cools system well, low profile, but there are a couple drawbacks. One of the fans (I think) rattles on start up and its actually kinda loud. The rattling started about 2 months after purchase. Sounds like a tiny radio control airplane about to lift off lol Eventually something happens and it quiets to a unnoticeable hum just like every other cooling fan. Or I can mess with it and it'll quiet down, but that defeats the purpose of being lazy. The other issue I have is the fan stays on well after the system has been shut off and/or auto shut down. Since the rattling quiets down after about 30+ minutes, I don't notice when the unit is working as it should (white noise) but when it turns off there's a noticeable silence. SO, it draws power for 4+ hours that I've noticed. BUT, it does have a power button where you can manually turn it on/off. You just have to remember to turn it off before going to bed or whatever. And I'm not doing that if I'm in bed already. The end.

It is as advertised. It attaches to the back of the console through one of the USB ports. But they have a USB port on the fan assembly to make up for taking up the one on the game. Once you turn it on you really don't have to touch it again. It will turn itself off and on along with the game power.

I got a unit that was new and it’s definitely not quiet. I’ve been around systems and PCs for years (30+) to know a quiet fan when it’s supposed to be quiet. This is NOT quiet. I can hear it from across the room. Also the build quality is cheap. The fans are also open from the side, nothing to enclose them and protect them from cables or anything falling into the fans. The switch also has no memory. Although it defaults to ON, each time I turn off and put the PS5 into rest mode, the USB port is powered again turning on the fans when the PS5 is not on. I know USB is powered so you can charge the controllers, however there is no reason for the fan to be running overnight. Very disappointed. Will be getting another brand that is more enclosed and actually provides a real USB v3 pass-thru also.

I bought this due to PS5 turning off overheating because I live in a hot area and a day later start making loud noise , I’m following up on this review the seller contacted me and sent me one without me asking for replacement. This is so nice. God bless the new product is great and I’ll give it five star.

I gave it a few weeks before I posted anything ,,, but my ps5 would constantly overheat, and get so hot the screen would just go black until I wiggled the hdmi cord or let it cool down. I went to ibreakufix and they said they could replace the HDMI port for 200 bucks… I was like will I might as well just upgrade to a pro? If has this ps5 since day 1! So i left ubreakifix and came home and decided to try one of these fans I had seen on Amazon. I ordered it Thursday and it was here lunch on Friday.. I simply plugged it in the back and it doesn’t move the hdmi cord which was perfect , and kicked on and was SILENT! I booted up and since ordering , my ps5 has not overheated or has my hdmi port acted up.. this just saved me from buying another system.. extended my consoles lifespan by years! 10/10 !! Mine doesn’t show speeds tho like some have posted? Just one button , on and off

So far so good. PlayStation kept overheating and shutting down. Hasn't since cooling fan installation. Was easy to install. Quiet. Happy with my purchase as of so far.

I have only tried this once but post usage the PS5 was much much cooler as compared to previous uses. I wasn’t sure how this silent apparatus would help it cool down but it does work pretty well, but just based on a single use.

Utilizo em conjunto com um dissipador de alumínio fixado a um ssd m2 e zerou o superaquecimento do meu ps5! Já cheguei a ficar um sábado inteiro jogando diablo 4 (com ele funcionando no direto em modo "qualidade de imagem" ) e o console não indicou aquecimento em nem um momento. Obs: Acredito que se não puser o dissipador de alumínio no SSD não tenha a mesma eficiência! Indico utilizar essa ventuinha com o dissipador no ssd.

Really helped with an overheating issue we had. Also, turning the console so that it lays horizontally helps with that too for some reason.

Sucks the heat away from the PlayStation ….thats what we needed ….so all good reasonable price …works …all happy
