Whilst I'm not sure the battery lasts significantly longer, it does work as well as the original.

Used this to replaced original battery whos charge wasn’t lasting very long.This battery lasts longer than the original ever did.I found installing this very straightforward and the battery itself isn’t too heavy in the controller

The battery replaced a non-charging original. It fit the space in the controller well although fitting the connector was a little fiddly. The battery charges and so far holds its charge.

I put this battery into my wii u gamepad & it immediately morphed into a nintendo switch? Confusing advertising?

This really is a great, quick and cheap way to bring your WiiU GamePad back to life if yours either no longer holds a charge or if it dies easily and quickly. For £13, this is a great replacement battery, it looks good has the same dimensions as teh original. It even comes with a screwdriver to help you do it, making the process that much easier.The battery came double-boxed with an outer box and then an inner box that housed the battery and the screwdriver. There are no instructions but written and video guides exist all over the internet, but all you have to do is unscrew the two screws on the battery cover and remove the lid. Then you unplug your battery, take it out, put the new one in, plug it in and replace the cover and the screws.It also helps that this is a 2200mAh battery compared to the 1500mAh battery that you originally get. This means that it will last longer than the original one, making it that much more worth it. I'm very happy with this battery, the price is worth it, it takes 5 minutes to install and it is better/cheaper than replacing the whole GamePad.

For the thirteen quid mark this is a great replacement battery. It even comes with a screwdriver to do it, and it's super easy;You unscrew the two screws on the battery cover and remove the lid. You can't lose the screws as they have a washer thing keeping them in place in the lid too, which is brilliant!You unplug you battery and take it out, you put this in and plug it in... and replace the cover.That's it.If this one is a true 2200mAh it should last a bit longer than the original (I think that one said 1500mAh when I took it out)..Very happy with this, price is spot on and it's such an easy fix for a WiiU main controller that's losing it's battery life.

Después de unos años parada, y gracias al cambio de batería, pues ha resucitado. A jugaaaaaaaar!

Comprata per sostituire la vecchia ormai andata. Totalmente compatibile, non ho avuto problemi. Per ora fa il suo dovere. Sulla durata non posso dichiarare niente.

Antes tenia que estar todo el rato con el gamepad enchufado ahora vuelve a tener autonomia. Por ahora genial.

De instalación muy fácil y el mismo rendimiento que la original

Mit 2200mAh (Hisewen Akku) vs 1500mAh (original Akku) erhält man hier einen Akku, der ein deutlich längere Laufzeit des Wii U Gamepads erlaubt. Das ist jetzt mein 3. Akku von Hisewen den ich testen durfte und alle, auch dieser, überzeugen durch ihre Qualität und Laufzeit.Problematisch war jedoch das erste Einsetzen des Akkus. die Steckverbindung ist deutlich straffer und beim ersten Mal sehr schwer einzuführen, hier muss man kräftig drücken. Bei nachfolgenden Ab- und Ansteckversuchen gab es dann keine Probleme mehr. Von den Abmaßen her ist der Akku exakt baugleich zum Original.Die Montage des Akkus ist selbsterklärend, im Lieferumfang ist ein passender Schraubendreher enthalten.
