Car Brake Light Backup Camera for Mercedes-Benz Sprinter/VW Crafter Vans LED Light Parking

I installed it on 2008 dodge sprinter 3500 shuttle van , fit is good and camera image is good also. The install was pretty easy for the camera and running the cable to the front . The camera can pivot a few notches to adjust the viewing angle and the image is pretty decent. Only thing is it says cut white loop for no park lines, that actually turns on lines so leave connected if you don’t want lines. Also these vehicles apparently have random issues with reverse lights, not the cameras fault but it won’t trigger the camera in reverse , it can be manually turned on through the radio until the vehicles part is fixed.

The is camera works well but it is not the best resolution especially at night. It does what it's supposed to and I am happy with it. What I liked the most was it is a factory fit and was fairly easy to install. I have a Pioneer 2330NEX receiver that allows me to adjust the parking guides to work with the camera. The reason that's important is because the camera is wide angle and mounted so high it really helps you park straight. One final thing that is nice is you can adjust the camera angle and it stays solidly in place.

1. Does not have any LED lights for rear brake2. Does not work with rear view in the Airstream Interstate (2018)My factory 3rd brake light housing was cracked, so I had no choice but to move the LEDs from the factory light to this unit. Looks like a good back up camera not until I used it during at night. Installed it with no problem and fits perfectly with my 2014 Sprinter Van.Apparently the IR (infrared light) is not working right. It works during day time but not at night when there is no bright light around the van.

Excellent Picture and sound! My 2012 factory camera was all foggy and hard to see, so I bought this hoping it work, and I was not disappointed in the least! I split the video and audio to both my rear-view mirror camera and to the 32" flat screen in the passenger area so I can see and hear whats going on around me when parked. Works fantastic on my 2012 Sprinter.None of the aftermarket 3rd brake cameras include the LED light board so you have to either remove yours carefully and transfer it to this one, or buy a new one. Mine was all burned out so I put a new one in and it looks awesome now.So far I'm extremely happy with this rather inexpensive but highly effective purchase. Look at the resolution on the big screen, its amazing.

Replaced the camera that went bad on my 2016 sprinter. Video quality was better than what I had and the adjustable angle is very nice. My old camera didn't move and was pointed too much straight down, this one fixed that problem. Installation was a bit harder for mine as the connections were too deep in my walls to merely disconnect and hook this one in so I cut it and made new connections. If you have a full build be prepared for that possibility. Also not that it's tiny little 21g wires you'll be connecting so it's a bit delicate.

I don't know if the camera on my 2007 Sprinter was the original, but I believe it was. The resolution and contrast were terrible. This camera fits perfectly and the image was so much better I could hardly believe it. Images show it before and after. Install took 10 minutes.
